visiting the gilded unicorn was such a delight! from the bar, we were surrounded by beautiful decor and had a great view of the wood fired oven, which was very cozy. the atmosphere was lovely, and kylie made us delicious drinks and was very kind! thank you gilded unicorn for a great night!

Summary: don’t sit in the lounge. Not worth it unless you can be seated in main area.

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for ages. I have heard great things. We made a last minute booking on a Saturday. We were told there was no availability in the main dining area but we could be seated in the “lounge.” It was described as not having as nice of ambience but much quieter. Ok, that sounds ok, right?

After eating here for the first time I want to say I hated it but after reading other reviews it seems like my girlfriend and I had a very typical experience. She enjoyed it and I personally never want to go back. Which is disappointing because I’ve suggested we try this place for a long time.
