It was relaxing but fun listening to trivia night.

I think maybe they were slightly short staffed with servers when we went, but we didn't have to wait too long for a party of 6, and all the food was delicious. We ended up arriving during happy hour too, and the drink prices were excellent.

The overall experience was great, but we hardly saw our waitress.

This is a new feeling for me 1 star. I've been a big fan of The Onion even as prices have risen and quality has changed. But I recently survived a severe infection and had to order food to go (yes I'm that sick I needed my mom to pick up my food 😷💀) instead of my usual dine in. The quality of food was way below standards, we got an unlimited 13 fries 😑 each!!!! And to top it off they left the food sitting cold 🥶 for 35 minutes after the first time she asked if it was ready and was blown off 🌬️.
Do not spend another dollar at this establishment. Literally not worth it when so many businesses are working hard to serve us here in town.
They had 5 people in the place and chose to bully the mom of a sick woman who just wanted dinner from her favorite place. Truly bad form.

The Onion is a Spokane institution. Food is fantastic. We love the Epicurean Mac and Cheese and the Steak bites. Their Onion soup is top knotch. Only complaint is service can be subpar at the North Division location. Have aat in the bar and waited for over 20 minutes without ever being acknowledged.

It's a bit noisy and very expensive but the food is delicious and totally worth it. You may need to season the food to suit your tastes. My fave is the cougar gold burger.

Food was cold, was not impressed by it, service was terrible, slow, server was super nice. Overall an ok experience not sure im coming back anytime soon.

Elk chop steak burger was so good, my friend got the Cobb Salad - loved it, and whoever came up with bacon stuffed tater tots is genius - dangerously good. Sipped on some Blanton's after dinner and hung at the bar. Beer list is epic too. Two cheers to the staff who were all great at their job and genuinely care for the guests. Can't wait to go back!

I had the french fries in the mushroom burger there are absolutely fantastic. I brought part of the mushroom burger home and my service dog had at it and he also gave it a five-star rating

Great dining experience today. Had super friendly waitress. Food was amazing. The cougar gold dip was so good, also had nachos. Perfect combination and amount to share with the two of us. Great expereince.

went to take my mom out for lunch and walk in with the sign saying “please wait to be seated” waited up there for 5-10 mins with no host or server coming over to greet us, so i went up to the bar and asked “are we good to just seat our self” and the bartender had an attitude and said “yeah open tables wherever” so we go sit at a table and immediately what i assumed to be the manager came over and said “i can take u guys over here this section is closed” so are you guys seating or is it open seating? we explained what the bartender said and with an attitude she said “okay i guess ill go get menus” immediately left i can see why the place was empty and no one walks about this place anymore…

My first time and love the place and the drinks and food was a 10+

I stop by here for happy hour all the time. Nicole and Nevaeh always give top notch service! The food is always hot and the beer is always cold. 10/10.
