I have been to many restaurants. Our server Bret was an incredibly attentive, nice young man that completely elevated our dining experience. I mean he recommended the cougar gold cheese dip because it would be good dipping for my burger fries. He offered alcohol pairings with dinner entrees and checked on us more than my mom does- and that is saying something. The food was decent but man, the service by Bret was bar none!!! Definitely recommend!

My wife and I went to the North side Onion last Friday after a Halloween school event for our granddaughter. We usually enjoy the meals and atmosphere at both Spokane locations. We ordered the French Onion Soup, which was stellar as usual, along with the Steak Sandwich and yummy pepper sauce. Everything was great except the steak. It was so tough that it was barely edible. We were very disappointed and will never order it again. We plan to still patronize the Onion as most past...

The Northside vibe is completely different from The Onion downtown. Not bad, just different. This place has more of a chain restaurant feeling.
Our food was good. Try the Cougar Gold cheese dip appetizer. It's delicious. We also like the onion rings. Everything is typically good.
The server named Sam is the nicest young man! Our service was excellent. I recommend this place for a regular night out.

Parking: Easy free parking. Nice option...
