Terrible service, high prices, and the worst karaoke host I've ever experienced.I don't know when or why things changed, but I'm so glad I recently gave Monterey another chance. The pizza is one of the best pies downtown, no doubt. The bartenders are friendly and pour delicious drinks. The bouncer keeps a friendly crowd inside and hotheads outside. And the karaoke host, Jess, keeps a tight rotation, a balanced mixer, and throws down some incredible songs herself.This review is for those of you who, like me, got a bad taste in your mouth from the old Monterey. Give them another shot!“
