Based on the existing reviews we were expecting way better than we experienced. Started off with the service. The staff member we encountered was apathetic at best and didn’t seem interested in helping us understand the specialty drinks - nor did they know what was on their own menu? Then wrong drinks, watery espresso, no simple syrup options, honey passed off as vanilla syrup, and breakfast burritos that taste like pepper-flavored mush.

Will not re-visit...

Wake Up Call has decent coffee, and their prices are a lot better than the big chain. This place is great for meetings, and the service is not bad. Sometimes it gets a little busy and then it seems a little slow, but most of the time it's just steady traffic. You would think that parking would be difficult, but street parking is free and there seems to be plenty of it. I like old buildings, and they dress this one up nicely.

Absolutely brilliant staff. True locals only shop without the big corporate nonsense. Comfy atmosphere that the others can't even begin to compete with. Drop by, you'll be glad you did. Peace.
