We have tried a few times with the new owners and it’s awful. The food isn’t good and the service is absolutely terrible. And very weird extra charges. Will not be back.

Absolutely fantastic experience!
We just ate at Amigo Family Mexican Restaurant and were blown away. The service was amazing — friendly, fast, and no wait at all! Our food came out quickly and everything was delicious. My husband ordered the chili verde and said it’s the best he’s had in 10 years! I had the chicken street tacos, and they were packed with flavor — the chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned. We’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend! 🌮💚

We came during a weekday. It was dead. Plates were big. Then food was average comparably. Two hours after eating, I was not feeling well and had the worst diarrhea for a day and a half afterwards.

Service was really good.

Pretty bland place, probably the worst place in Stanwood

The service was decent.

The food on the other hand tasted like it was freezer burner and microwaved. I would not reccomend this place. I am not a super picky person either.

My biggest issue is the price, they're one of the most expensive places in town. I imagined the food would be a lot better for the price.

I ordered a meal with no mushrooms expressed they make me sick so I can't have them. Server seemed like ok no problem. My meal came out with mushrooms, the cook didn't pay attention, neither did the server she brought it out and you can see the mushrooms. Saden by this. That neither staff cared enough to get it right knowing I could get sick. If I had bigger allergies and ate them I could have died. Not a picky customer not being rude. Just think if you served a guest as something that could kill them, then how would you feel??? Not returning, can't take the chance.

Prices are absurd. 4.99 for a fountain drink and 6.00 extra to add a table spoon of sour cream and guacamole and price was not disclosed on the menu. Food was blan and black beans watery. One diet Pepsi and a chalupa with rice and beans was 29.48. Never again.

These guys knocked it out of the park last night! We had a very large to-go order that we called in, and not only was the customer service over the phone while placing the order exceptional, everything in our order was exactly correct and delicious!
