Why can’t anyone do decent biscuits and gravy? It’s absolutely one of the easiest recipes you can imagine, but everyone messes it up. The gravy was basically bechamel with a couple of pieces of mediocre sausage. The waitress was great, but the food was really pedestrian.

The perfect small town cafe. Sit at the counter and visit with the friendly staff or pick a table and look out the big windows. The food is solid and comfortable, cooked exactly how you ask for it. This place is cozy and comfortable and delicious.

If you ever wanted a taste of America, it's here. I'm not talking just about the breakfast hash or the cheese burger with potatoes. It's the friendly servers who know you by name. It's the decorative ducks on the wall. It's the local place owned by people who are a part of the community. Come here and enjoy.

A diamond in the rough! Fairly noisy so don't go if you want a quiet, intimate little get-away. This is a place to take your buddies to eat great food. Some of the best made-in-the-kitchen soup ever and a Ruben sandwich that is superb! Loved every delicious, finger-licking drop! Server was friendly and efficient and provided great service. You can order breakfast at lunchtime and prices are reasonable. Plan on $30+ for two. You could get by for less, but you'll want to leave a good tip. They deserve it!

Food was very bland. Anything that is made with flour(ie biscuits, gravy, breading on chicken fried steak) tastes like raw unseasoned flour…not even salt. I was hoping it was going to be better. Sadly I was disappointed. The waitress was very nice and expedient. Unfortunately the food is what fell short, and that’s kind of the most important part of a restaurant/cafe.
Horrible Horrible experience. We waited an hour for 2 kids breakfasts. The coffee was disgusting, the floors are gross and dirty, the silverware was not clean and just thrown on the table. They kept messing up other people's orders and it just seems they don't care about their business. Surprised they have 4 star reviews, so those must be locals or friends and family, because we did not experience any hospitality.

The Duck In Cafe was an awful experience. The waitress apologized profusely due to the slowness. She let us know the restaurant is under new ownership and they are training a new cook. It took forever to get our food and everything tasted like grease. The inside is very old and unkempt. I would never eat here again and am honestly shocked at the 4+ rating on Google.
