If you ever wanted a taste of America, it's here. I'm not talking just about the breakfast hash or the cheese burger with potatoes. It's the friendly servers who know you by name. It's the decorative ducks on the wall. It's the local place owned by people who are a part of the community. Come here and enjoy.

A diamond in the rough! Fairly noisy so don't go if you want a quiet, intimate little get-away. This is a place to take your buddies to eat great food. Some of the best made-in-the-kitchen soup ever and a Ruben sandwich that is superb! Loved every delicious, finger-licking drop! Server was friendly and efficient and provided great service. You can order breakfast at lunchtime and prices are reasonable. Plan on $30+ for two. You could get by for less, but you'll want to leave a good tip. They deserve it!

Food was very bland. Anything that is made with flour(ie biscuits, gravy, breading on chicken fried steak) tastes like raw unseasoned flour…not even salt. I was hoping it was going to be better. Sadly I was disappointed. The waitress was very nice and expedient. Unfortunately the food is what fell short, and that’s kind of the most important part of a restaurant/cafe.

Horrible Horrible experience. We waited an hour for 2 kids breakfasts. The coffee was disgusting, the floors are gross and dirty, the silverware was not clean and just thrown on the table. They kept messing up other people's orders and it just seems they don't care about their business. Surprised they have 4 star reviews, so those must be locals or friends and family, because we did not experience any hospitality.

The Duck In Cafe was an awful experience. The waitress apologized profusely due to the slowness. She let us know the restaurant is under new ownership and they are training a new cook. It took forever to get our food and everything tasted like grease. The inside is very old and unkempt. I would never eat here again and am honestly shocked at the 4+ rating on Google.

Honestly both breakfasts were terrible. My husband had chicken fried steak, totally blah. Absolutely no flavor even after using salt and pepper. Mine was worse. Hashbrowns, eggs, and a biscuit. I considered putting ketchup on the whole plate to give it flavor and I don't like ketchup. On the plus side the waitress was great, happy, efficient, a delight.

Small town cafe.Large portions of food , but unfortunately very little flavor. I wanted it to be better. I'm not sure what the issue is. It's just that for me, I need breakfast to taste better than it did. I've tried a couple of times here because I believe in supporting small town business. It's a hash and coffee joint and everyone is truly friendly. wait staff id quick and efficient. It's a place where everyone knows your name, even if they don't. Lots of parking.
