Likely the top restaurant in Stevenson. All of the dishes we ordered were solid picks. Portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. This is local food that has a taste of home. The service was great, Mimi was super nice and helpful. She was able to take very good care of my family of four. We had the meat loaf, fish and chips, as well as the lasagna. Would recommend any of them.
We've been going out of our way to eat at big river for over a decade. The food is consistently fabulous! However last Sunday we were there with our grandkids and had a very unusual bad experience. My husband's burger that he has had countless times came without the usual toppings. When I asked our server to correct it she actually argued with me that we were wrong and it had never come with lettuce, tomato and onion. It always has and states so on the menu. We ordered...
