Awesome food and awesome owners! Thank you!

Justa Person Talking to you

This whole-in the-wall day-restauraunt, provides quality, super-fresh food, that is made from scratch. I have only recently gotten to know the menu at this place, as I don't typically go out for breakfast or lunch, so I've only tried a couple of items, one of their rice-bowls and mushroom soup, both very good. The thing that will surprise you, is that the prices are VERY reasonable (which is kinda rare in small-town eating), AND the view is fantastic, beautiful and interesting. You can usually find a seat, but be warned that seating IS limited. Check it out! If you liked my post or found it helpful please give it a like to spread the good energy. Thanks! P.S, they have more than what's on the menu in the way of baked goods, etc..

We were riding bikes around and stumbled upon The Crossing. They had several items on the menu that we really wanted to try. They gave us a sample to help us decide. The food is only to go, but they do have some limited seating outside in a garden area. The food was great and very reasonable priced. Worth a stop!

The red curry was amazing! A lovely tiny lunch cafe that the owners run from their house. Tasty healthy food. Limited seating but can also sit in the garden or at the picnic tables close to the river.

Small menu but good selection. Good value and nice flavors. Great view inside and great garden space for eating outside. My favorite lunch spot in town

Love their food. I always get the spicy chicken teriyaki bowl!

Have the spicy teriyaki rice bowl and an ice tea. You won't be dissatisfied

The Crossing is my favorite place to eat in Stevenson. The curry bowl and Reuben are the best.

Two stars because this restaurant has no bathroom. Which would not be a problem if they proclaimed this fact loud and proud on the front door, before you go in with your 90 year old mother, order, get your food and then your mother asks to use the restroom. So we pack up our stuff get back in the car to go find a restroom. It was 32 and snow was on the ground btw. When we finally got her to a restroom, then found a place to sit down and eat (not outside because, you know, it's freezing!) 40 minutes later the food was good. Probably would have been better 40 minutes earlier. The second star was because The food was good. At least now when I look up restaurants and make a selection, I know to call the restaurant first and ask of they have restrooms.

Great food, good prices. Really personable owners. We had the tamale rice bowl, red curry bowl, pumpkin cheesecake & chocolate rice pudding. Homemade, too. Highly recommend.
