I actually went back to the window for a second order. I’ve never done that at a burger place. On the way home after a hike, we took a chance and checked out Alpen Drive-in. The Cowboy burger far exceeded my expectations, with its crunchy onion ring, tangy sauce, and crisp bacon. The fries were super hot and crispy. Amazing eating experience. After finishing the meal, I ordered more. The want is real. We will be returning again, for sure.
Zucchini and onion rings were over cooked. Milkshakes weren't blended well, when called in order they didn't ask if it was burger only or with fries. Didn't ask until we were at the windows for a drink holder. (Had 4 Milkshakes) teriyaki chicken burger wasn't very flavorful.
What a sweet place to zip into! Burgers are standard, fries are really nice and crispy, basket is worth it and the shakes are delightful!
Can't go wrong with a quaint drive in joint; park, walk up to order and enjoy being in the countryside.
