The Buttered Biscuit offers great food, fair prices, and generous servings. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and has easy parking options nearby. The cornbread is a standout, described by customers as crack and more like a slice of cake, with portions so large they are almost enormous. The traditional Eggs Benedict is highly praised, with five varieties available, all considered great. Customers also enjoy hearty dishes like chicken fried steak and the Trainwreck, which combines all the favorites on one plate. The service is generally good, with friendly staff, though some mention that upstairs staff can be uncertain, and the bathroom door being left open upstairs is a concern. Overall, the food is cooked with straight-up country comfort food love, and the portions are very generous, often worth the wait. The atmosphere is fun and funky, especially in downtown Puyallup, giving a nostalgic, chill vibe. The owner/manager is known for being super with service and answering questions. Customers consistently praise the delicious food, large portions, and welcoming environment, making The Buttered Biscuit a favorite spot for breakfast and comfort food lovers.
