Went in for our first time today. Their staff is genuinely friendly, and professional. Their drinks and food are amazing. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy, and be comfortable. We'll be back for sure! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.Parking: Parking available on both sides of the street.Kid-friendliness: Friendly for kids, plenty of seating options including homes style couch and chairs.

My husband has been bringing me treats from this great bakery for the last couple of weeks. We've tried the chocolate cake, several different scones, breakfast croissant sandwich and biscuits and gravy. Excellent quality, taste, and portions size. Nice place to sit and excellent customer service. Sooo good! Highly recommend.

This is a hidden little gem in Sunnyside. Perfect for someone trying to enjoy a coffee and a delicious pastry. This is going to be my new go-to spot to do some homework and studying.
So here's the thing. There are enough television screens in our lives. A local restaurant has a TV on the OUTSIDE PATIO. A lot of the time I go out to get away from the damned thing. And now Rise is hanging a TV in the seating area. Few enough places of respite from the constant barrage of media, and even with the volume down, the flickering screen will be a distraction. I will not be sitting inside anymore, and I will really miss that because this is the only sit-down coffee place in Sunnyside. (revision) I received the response from the ownership and realized that it isn't a question of quality, this place still rocks, its just that it used to be one of the oases from constant screen-time. Now there is no place like that in Sunnyside, and i mourn that. If TVs are your thing, then this place might just be paradise. - stars restored

I love this place! And not just because it's family owned and it's my family lol they really do have the best pastries! The coffee beans are locally sourced and everything is house made. They have all kinds of coffee options, flavored Red Bulls, lemonades & smoothies. Different pastries everyday that are made fresh every morning by the baker. Different brunch sandwiches and even a salad option! Everything is so delicious and fresh! The vibe is super cute and rustic with plenty of seating and even a meeting room where you can have a little privacy. The staff is always friendly and tries to make everyone feel welcomed when they enter!
