7 Seas Brewery and Taproom

From appetizers to the main dishes the food was very good! Definitely above your average bar food. And the pricing was good at below $20 per plate for most (might be biased coming from the NYC area).
The non alcoholic beer I had was extremely good as well, it was lemon something... wish i remembered the name.
Great open vibe with brewery setting and the bar and food station setups are good. Definitely check it out if you are in the area!

Always a great experience. Cold delicious beers with a bit of everything to ensure something for everyone.

Canteen food was amazing beer selection was interesting

Honestly, we love this place and have
Gone so many times over the years but this evening was a souring experience. We have two kids, one being two years old and the biggest selling point is the informal environment to bring children (couches, being able to move around while eating — people with kids get it) tonight towards the end of our 2 hour family gathering, my youngest daughter was going from one couch to the other saying “boo!” To her family members and we would act scared which made her belly laugh IN A WAREHOUSE THAT ECHOES. This goes on, we’re all having a great time and the bartender comes over and goes “would you like some coloring books?” And I had all my coloring items that I brought with us on the table and we were going to leave within a few minutes but I accepted and she very rudely said “also keep the screaming to like a zero okay?” And turned her back and walked away. Please keep in mind, we are VERY aware when our children are causing a scene — this was NOT it. When our toddler was too loud we quietly shushed her and let her continue having fun with her family.

All this to say — I am not pleased with people (staff or patrons) who go to a kid friendly establishment and then get rude with customers who have kids being kids. If my kids were in any way SCREAMING, we would remove them (as we have done in the past) I’m sure that gal was just annoyed but if you don’t like kids, there are plenty of over 21 bars in Tacoma to get a job ❤️ anyways — happy kids should never be told to dull their laughter, be better and let them be kids.

Stopped by here as I was driving through & figured I’d try out a local Tacoma brewery. The place is quite large & great for a gathering with friends or family. And of course, the beer is amazing. I had the Rude Parrot IPA (delicious West Coast IPA) & the Hula Weizen (their summer release). Both were great but the Hula definitely stood out with its flavor. Will definitely be back here again when I’m in town!

WOW this place is noisy! Parents are allowed to let their kids run wild, throwing food and coats and things all around, and screaming! Whoa, who lets their kids do that?! Otherwise, the ambiance could be fun and the open environment is cool. I don’t drink beer/cider so can’t rate that, but having only one food option isn’t good.

Great place to meet friends and hang out.

Wonderful space to get a beer or coffee and get food. Very family friendly with pinball machines and shuffle boards. They also recently started showing games on a projector, I hope they keep that up. Most importantly, they have a great selection of beers! There is something for everyone here!

Good food, slightly stand-offish staff, really cool decor.

The sweet potato fries are really good! Along with the sauces that accompany them. Some of the staff seem like nice, cool and down-to-earth people. Some seem a little immature, which I know sounds harsh, but as an adult, I appreciate when going to a restaurant if the person serving me seems at least a little able to maintain a light and friendly conversation.

I really enjoyed all of the drinks I’ve tried, minus one! I go for the ciders and am usually satisfied. They also have arcade games, which is very cool! There are many to choose from.

I’d give this place a 5 star review if it weren’t for the occasionally standoffish staff members - loosen up a little bit, people :) We’re not on a date, you’re just serving me a cider :)

Real fast service.The atmosphere is laid back and food is good. A great place to meet with friends and relax
