I LOVE Mediterranean food and was so excited to try out Al Bacha in downtown Tacoma! My friends and I visited this Saturday and I ordered a lamb gyro. Let me tell you this was a top tier full flavor gyro. It was a huge portion of lamb, out of this world tziki, crisp lettuce, and all the vegetables. I also appreciated the drink case with every drink variety you can imagine. Casual dining experience, low price, highlyRecommend this location!Parking: Paid street parking, can be difficult to find parking at peak hours. There is a paid lot around the block.

Best gyros, hummus, falafel, etc. in Tacoma. I’m writing this because it’s true and I want to see them stay in business. This location doesn’t get much foot traffic, but there is plenty of parking on Court A Street. You won’t regret it.

Simple and straightforward menu, but there's nothing simple about the shawarma. Not only is it EXCELLENT, but the sweets, turkish coffee, and phenomenal service make you feel easily at home. I'm so grateful to have this available in Tacoma, finally!
Good lord, the beef and lamb gyro from this place. I know it's a super boring thing to order but it's what I wanted in the moment. Delicious, fresh, just... really, really good. Best in town.

Al Bacha is a newer restaurant that opened in downtown Tacoma. I kept forgetting to go here for a while but finally did remember a few Fridays ago to give it a try. I did a take out order for a lamb gyro and that went pretty well. It wasn't long before my order was ready. The gyro itself was good. Ingredients were fresh and the meat was tasty. It made for a very good lunch. I didn't realize just how much salt was in the gyro though as later on I got thirsty for water and had several glasses of it during work which isn't quite a routine for me. I will make an order here again however but perhaps will try their hummus sometime.
Food is halal, delicious, and fresh. They also serve big portions of all of the food. Atmosphere is really family friendly and relaxed. Love that there’s no music, I can actually hear my conversation with family. There’s also no alcohol! That’s a HUGE plus for me and my family. Lots of beverage options from Coke, Mexican Coke, Pepsi, Baja blast, sparking water and more. My toddler loved the chicken shawarma and lentil soul. Food is very flavorful, moist chicken, fresh hot bread. The hot sauce they have is really good and goes great with the chicken shawarma.Service was so friendly, even passed out complimentary desserts for everyone who was dinning in the day we went.Nothing negative to say! So yummy! Highly recommend!

The Arabic Shawarma and lentil soup were perfect. I grew up eating shawarma, and my dad even used to own a shawarma restaurant. This place is legit and I definitely reccomend.

Take out order. Man on the phone was polite and let me know the chicken kabob would take about 15 minutes. Food was ready when I arrived. Very clean on the inside with a wide assortment of drinks. Both chicken kabob and shawarma were excellent! Tacoma needed a place like this!

Ordered delivery through Uber eats. Chicken gyro salad came DRENCHED in dressing and sauce. It's all soggy and not edible. Waste of money. Disappointed is an understatement. Going in the trash.
