Anthony's At Point Defiance

Our server Wendy took very good care of us. The manager was prompt and helpful. A great Easter celebration.

We had Open Table reservations but 45 minutes after we finally got seated and not in a booth as was requested. Appetizers arrived 40 minutes after ordering. My salad came before the Appetizers. Everyone was hungry and we had to request bread that was eagerly eaten. Main dishes came about 2 minutes after the Appetizers. Manager never once stopped by our empty table.

The restaurant was an incredible view of the harbor and ferry. We saw so much wildlife!

The view of the water was the first feature. Beautiful day, the ferry was loading, and clear for miles. Just wonderful.

The service was impeccable. Quick, assured, and never intrusive. The food arrived at the turn almost as if we were the chef's favored family.

The food. Mmmm. My wife and I like layers, and seafood done right can't be beat. Chowder? Only 2 places done better in my life, and the first one can't be bought anymore, like many restaurants, this one changed theirs, which made it a good chowder, no longer best. And 2nd best's chowder, like many restaurants lately, closed. Apartments now. So chowder technically best, like time travel, the correct type of best. You try it, you'll know. And the chef salad was crunchy tasty. You know perfectly cooked fish will effortlessly flake on the fork, but retain it's frame. Then just settle unto the tongue for that hit of flavor. The green beans were off, the only thing off the whole experience. Which was the perfect thing to talk about on occasion as we walked along the shore.

Excellent in all respects. Price does reflect experience, but worth it albeit more as a treat.

Almost didn't mention the creme brulee. But seriously, how can you go and not get it.

Had a very nice lunch w a friend. Nice window seat. I had the baked halibut. Very tasty. Service was attentive. I recommend and will return. Thanks Team Anthony’s.

Great waterside restaurant at Point Defiance with excellent service, interesting, flavorful food, spectacular water views from inside or the wonderful surrounding deck. Highly recommend. Excellent sea food!

It has a pretty view! We love the place! The food was really good, great prices, it’s in a pretty location! Definitely will be back!

Location is beautiful but sadly things go south from here. While food and service are 'ok', they do not reflect the very high prices:
One small crab cake, good meat but too much batter/fried shell is nearly $20, halibut was $39, a bit overcooked amd with basic green and potatoes mash, taco was singular for more than $20. You get the drift... If we go back, it will be for a drink as the location is good

One muscle looked rotten. Dessert was enormously large. Service was extremely slow. Atmosphere would have been fine had it not been for another loud party seated nearby.
