Good vibes, promos and music. We’re always greeted by friendly staff. Fast when taking orders and making drinks but sometimes they do get busy so calling ahead helps!! So many options to choose from and explore next visit 😜 def my fave boba spot!!

The first time I came the atmosphere and attention where spot on. I was able to get Pandan ice cream on my halo-halo. Amazing service only to get shot down today. Everyone was coming and going. The people in front of me, people after me. Waited more than the five minutes. Got here at 5:10pm and just two minutes ago was told they did not have the ice cream. Seriously 5:43pm and they waited that long to tell me. Never coming back.

Been living in Seattle awhile and have struggled to find comparable boba in Tacoma, and omg this place is one of my favorite places now. I’m not sure what the other boba shops in town are doing, cause Bambu slays. The people are so sweet and the shop is SO cute. Stop drinking watered down BobaLust and try this place fr!

What a fun place to bring your whole family to. My most favorite thing here is the Vietnamese egg cofee, not only is it delicious, but it gives you a serious caffeine buzz, don't drink it in the evening unless you want to stay up all night ?. The waffles are unlike anything I have ever had! Crispy on the outside but super soft and chewy on the inside filled with jelly like fillings. Also, don't forget to try the Taro lover. It's a flavor unlike anything else in this world.

Very cute shop. Jasmine tea was a bit bitter, but matcha latte was perfect sweetness.
EDIT: Turns out the waitress messed up the order and gave me 50% sweetness instead of 100%. Much better after I realized that. This is now a solid choice if you're in the area.

Update 08/09/2024 I ordered a couple of my favorite drinks/desserts and the green jelly was super chewy. It appears to be uncooked, and the wife and I were not able to chew it. So, it was less enjoyable for us this time.

Bambu Tacoma has an excellent menu display with pictures showing what's inside your drink/ dessert (in a cup). I usually order #6, which has everything with shaved ice, and I typically order a pendant or coconut waffle to go with it. A cold drink with a freshly made waffle tastes delicious!
Besides the great-tasting food, as soon as you walk into the restaurant, the staff greets you, which is important to me :) The team works hard, and they are fantastic. My five-star rating is on excellent customer service, the taste of the food & drinks, and the right price.

My first visit here was about 5 years ago when I used to live there... then we moved to Oregon three years ago. But I came back to Tacoma last April for the Enhypen kpop concert at the Dome...came back here and got the Moomoolicious (brown sugar) milk tea. Yum! Then returned on a family trip a week ago this July... and got the blended Pistachio! It was legit and slightly crunchy ? always fun vibes here.
