Love this spot. Great food and great menu. Service was outstanding. A little small, but you won't feel like it's crowded. The service and owner are top notch. Now if they would just put some grilled octopus on the menu...?

Our first time at this restaurant, and we’ll be back! It’s kid friendly too. We ordered the bao pork belly buns and they were so delicious. Also had the angus burger which was perfectly cooked. And the wild mushroom homemade spaghetti!! It was delicious! Their craft cocktails were goood! Service was great too!Kid-friendliness: The restaurant itself is dark and moody, but there were plenty of families with children there.

Wr went there for birthday party, our server Jack ( Zack?)was super friendly and his service made us so welcoming during our dining. He even offered to keep the cake and in the refrigerator and cut it out for serving. Very satisfied with his service and we will come back this place for sure bacause of Jack.

Came here with a group of friends during Tacoma Restaurant Week and was super impressed with their price fixed menu! It was a fantastic deal, pretty much all the options were delicious that I tried, and it was really good service. Based on the location and decor, its kind of unassuming, you'd never know that you'd get some pretty fancy food here, but I was really impressed!

Staffing issues hindered service evening we dined. Overall we will give location another opportunity. Duck was very good, steak bit under cooked and cool but presented well. Unique atmosphere...

Completely unexpected. I happened to find it online while looking for something else, and we wondered why we had never tried it. From their menu and price points it's an upscale restaurant, but its location, and the building it's in, are very unassuming. (Very. We were having second thoughts by the time we parked.)Walking through the door, it doesn't look like the outside of the building suggests it should. We had made reservations, and I was glad because it was full. The dining area is basically one large room (remember, it's still working with the unassuming structure it lives in), but they had placed us in the lounge area which is slightly sectioned off from the rest of the space. But well-appointed, with a super professional waitstaff. The menu is very eclectic, and everything looked very good. We started with Deep Fried Brie (which was so delicious! It would make a great dessert, too, so don't count it out as a finisher). After thinking seriously about the Baked Mac & Cheese, I decided it might be too much cheese after the Brie, so I had the House Risotto, while Handsome had the Angus Burger, rare with smoked cheddar and a side salad. For libations I had the House Old Fashioned (a sweetly spiced take on a classic, I liked the hint of sweetness and will get this again), and Handsome had the Bourbon Mai Tai (not too sweet, so he had two!).We ate *everything,* and were full, so I decided to get the Campfire cocktail as my dessert (think s'mores, but in a cocktail form - it would be lighter than an actual dessert). Then Handsome decided he wanted to try their Carrot Cake, and it looked too delicious to pass up so I had some of that too. It doesn't say this in the menu description (look for the pictures), but their Carrot Cake is topped with crispy carrot curls, which were slightly sweetened. The effect of the slightly crispy curls with the cake and creamy frosting was worth it.Located in the Midland area of Tacoma, near Parkland. Excellent dinner ?️Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options were clearly marked, and suitable for vegetarians who eat dairy. One or two of the options looked like they could easily be made vegan. The staff was friendly, so calling and asking about vegan options is a good idea.

The food was good and they have a nice variety so dinner with a group that included steak people, vegetarians, and everyone in between was served. For some reason the service was incredibly slow. 3 hours from arrival to paying the check including waiting 25 minutes for a glass of wine and over an hour for the food to arrive. They were staffed ok out front but it's possible the back of house was missing some people. Anyway, I would go back, but 3 hours for dinner on a weeknight isn't going to work out very often.Wheelchair accessibility: Level entry, no steps and wide hallway to an ADA-compliant gender neutral restroom.

The good and service here is top of the line. The place has an open design so sound carries. With a full place it can be hard to hear... Prices were average for an upscale bistro. I will go again.

We went for a late Valentine's dinner, and boy did we ever enjoy it! From the moment we walked in the door, we started enjoying our experience. We had a reservation, which I think is needed here unless you sit at the bar. Cocktails were great. Mains were great. About the only issue we had was that the mains took awhile to come out, and dessert took almost 45 minutes. Had I known, I would have ordered it along with the main. The servers and staff were all really good. We will definitely be back for a birthday or anniversary celebration again!

The food was to-die-for- we had the fried brie, the non-wagyu burger, the smoked duck and the cuban sandwich, all of which were just *chef's kiss*. Both sweet potato and regular fries were mouthwatering (it's so easy to do fries badly, but these were addicting). The Campfire cocktail was also just delicious and tasted like s'mores.Service-wise, all the staff were attentive and helpful, and tried to make sure we didn't fall through the cracks (we sat at the bar until our table was ready). They were on the ball with refilling water, and checked in often (but not too much - the right amount!). This place is great and we cannot wait to go back and explore more of their menu.Just be aware parking can fill up quickly so have a back-up parking place ready just in case.Parking: There are a good number of spots but they fill up quickly
