The pizza was decent, but the restaurant was so packed that the waiters were too occupied to pay attention to us. Our check was simply dropped off at our table with no word, and the two servers were frantically rushing around, trying to clear tables quickly to accommodate new customers!

I was looking forward to trying this place out but after we were seated at the bar on Monday Night and served water by the hostess, we were never ackowledged again by anyone to place our drinks and food order. At the 20 minute mark we left and went to eat elsewhere.

This is THE best pizza in Tacoma. It’s Neapolitan style not grease bomb American style pizza. Nice and light, eat a whole pie on your own! Great with a nice light lager, house red, or the Texas Sun is the best of an amazing drinks menu.
The Caesar Salad is exceptional and large enough to share. Wings on Wednesdays. Any of their desserts will rock your socks.

Searching for a spontaneous date night on a Monday can be a challenge. Lucky for us we found Bar Rosa! Cool atmosphere. Perfect playlist. Delicious cocktails. Outstanding service. Amazing Neapolitan pizza! This place was perfect on an Autumn evening. We started with a drink called the Evil Eye. Had asked our server for a recommendation and they were very knowledgeable about the cocktail menu. No lip service here. Enjoyed the perfectly blistered shishito peppers with house made aioli, Squash & Coppa seasonal pizza (server also highly recommended and did not disappoint) and tomato based, loaded with delicious toppings CAPRICCIOSA pizza. Really good pizza….. and we are picky about pizza! Highly recommend this place!

We moved from overseas a couple of years ago and have been following every possible recommendation to find the best old world-style pizza. Turns out, it was closer to home than expected. The food was nothing short of stellar: fresh, high quality ingredients prepared masterfully. On top of that, the staff was exceptional. Quick, efficient, friendly, and eager to go above and beyond to provide the best experience. We rarely eat out simply because the food and experience never quite feel like they deliver for the price.
