Service has gone down in the last few years. The food is still the better of the two things to actually come here for. Overall not a bad spot. Pull tabs and drinks. Good priced happy hour specials.
It can be slow due to low staff, but I did not experience this issue. Great fried food, spicy burger was huge and the fried chicken sandwich was ok,a little dry, but the avocado was a really nice addition. Flavor was great. The spicy cheese curds were the best thing. A basket of those would be almost enough for a meal unto itself. Nice to see a place to trivia on a Friday night. Outside patio, pool table indirect lighting make the place feel like a better drive bar.
Didn't have my taste in liquor but the staff was great, the atmosphere was great, I had good conversations with patrons and staff. First time revisiting after 15+ years. I just stopped in for a visit. It's way outside my current neighborhood.
