What a cool place! This is the somewhat unnatural child of a coffee shop and tiki bar. You enter through an old roadside coffee pot shaped building. But inside are fake stuffed animals on the wall, bamboo screens, and just the wildest collection of stuff.

We had beer and onion rings, and sat at the bar. The day was young, and so we were largely alone. But I can see that this place can get hopping once the sun starts disappearing. The onion rings were good, and the beer cold. Prices are reasonable; they're not out to gouge you.

Come to this place and enjoy a great repurpose of the old coffee shop. Sit at the bar with a close friend in the unique double bar stools. And look around - you'll see something strange and unique everywhere you look.

I love the Teapot it's been around so long I remember riding by as a kid and wanting to go there now that I am old enough I get to go in and sing karaoke on that stage and have some fun with people. I love JR and his wife so kind and fun to talk with and they have a variety of DJ hosts for karaoke who like to dress up and make the atmosphere more fun. They have themed events and if your into comedy they have comedy nights followed by Karaoke and they do live music too.

Bobs is always fun! Karaoke every night! Drinks are usually a little on the lite side but that's ok just means I can drink longer!

Bar tenders are rude. They kicked out the designated driver in my group just because they laid their head down while I was on stage karaoking. Rude staff and power trips.

What can you say about a bar that in a building that's shaped like a coffee pot, jungle motife, great food, kooky karaoke, a smoking area, and a stage on the roof?!
You can say that's the Historic Bob's Java Jive!

Top dive bars in America right here. Love the history, the eclectic decor, the layout, the constant karaoke, the actual sociable main bar, and of course the teapot design.

Food is meh, but drunk food is wowza, so have a few. Didnt have high expectations, its a bar! Beer is freshy fresh.

Unless you're ordering you're not allowed to be standing in the bar area, you will get screamed at for being upright. If waiting 2+ hours for karaoke is your thing this is the bar for you.

This place is extremely disorganized. Bartenders were shouting at people to keep moving to not block walkway but then had no idea who was supposed to order and then making people order double track. They need to redo their layout to accommodate foot traffic as they were completely at capacity and it was only 1030. The music was a vibe but not designed for its popularity at this point and need to just get rid of its bar seating on Saturday. Had multiple groups leave due to lack of space once they were able to get in.

Came in here off the cuff while driving through town. We are from Massachusetts and needed a place to have a drink. We came in on Sunday karaoke night. I had draft beer, I had the Goesh I had the IPA and I had the amber. All were terrible. But it’s OK because the atmosphere was amazing and I got drunk enough to sing three songs in karaoke. Gwen Stefani, Johnny Cash, and Marcy’s playground. The girlfriend had two Jack and cokes and understandably we both felt like crap the next morning, but that’s not Bob’s fault. Would definitely come back again especially on karaoke night. Charity was freaking amazing singing rage against the machine.
