Their burritos are bomb. I get a baso burrito and a yuka burrito and make it vegan but add lettuce and guac. It’s worth it.

The food is absolutely yummy! Great family atmosphere. I had the Torta with Al Pastor. It was quite delicious. The family of 6 enjoyed every morsel. Thank you!

The best place to get breakfast burritos in Tacoma. Their other dishes are great as well.

I highly recommend breakfast here. Sometime I have to come for dinner. The tap list always looks good!

Great Mexican food hidden behind the name of Brewers Row. We ordered a few different items and none disappointed! The tortillas make or break a taco and both my wife and I agreed these were by farel the best/most authentic we've tasted at a restaurant since leaving Los Angeles. It was truly a breath of fresh air to order a side of beans and rice and not have the beans covered in some shredded cheese. Brisket tacos were tasty with plenty of flavor and the nachos were delicious. The house margarita was also refreshing and well balanced in my opinion. The green chorizo quesadilla was also no slouch, the flour tortilla was toasty and the chorizo was really good, I wonder where it's sources from because I would certainly buy some for home meals. All in all, I was thrilled to finally find some good Mexican food in the area, we will certainly be back soon.

As a passionate lover of Mexican food, I had high hopes for my visit to Brewers Row. With the vibrant culinary world that surrounds us, it’s often easy to get swept up in the excitement of trying new eateries. Unfortunately, my family and I quickly learned that Brewers Row is by far the worst Mexican food experience we have ever endured.

Entering the establishment, I was met with the sticky sensation of grime beneath my fingertips as I made my way to the counter to place my order. While I understand that some places carry a level of rustic charm, Brewers Row felt more like a neglected dive bar than a vibrant eatery.

I eagerly anticipated a warm, cheesy delight with my order; instead, the cold glob of cheese felt like a cruel joke. Instead of that comforting melt, I received a solid mass that resembled a sad, neglected relic from yesterday’s kitchen. This is where my dining experience took a serious downturn.

Now, let’s talk about the shrimp tacos. Oh, where do I even begin? The shrimp were farmed, which is often acceptable in casual dining, but these tasted as if they had come straight from the gutter. To say they were gross would be an understatement; they had a distinct flavor that conjured memories of dirty, smelly socks. This might be an exaggeration, but considering my full tasting experience, it felt entirely valid.

The quesadilla was another unfortunate bias of Brewers Row. It was filled with cold cheese and hardly featured a scrap of meat. I’ve indulged in many quesadillas in my life, and this one was far from worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as any of them. It was almost like they took a shortcut, throwing in whatever they had on hand rather than crafting a meal worthy of Mexican cuisine.

Let’s not forget about the nachos, which I assumed would be a guaranteed win. Instead, I was greeted by a heap of chips topped with precooked chicken that was dry and flavorless. I almost wished I had opted for the taco truck across the street, which had come highly recommended by friends and local foodies alike.

To add insult to injury, the service was painfully slow. You order at the counter, but there is no urgency in the kitchen. It felt like an eternity as we watched families at neighboring tables dash through their meals before we even received our appetizers. Perhaps they had caught on that the food would better serve as a stomach filler rather than a dining experience.

In conclusion, my experience at Brewers Row was a perfect storm of disappointment. I felt almost robbed of my enthusiasm for the flavors that genuine Mexican cuisine can offer. The lack of care in food preparation, combined with an uninviting atmosphere and slow service, secured this establishment a firmly planted spot at the bottom of my list. If you’re looking for an authentic Mexican meal, seek out the taco truck across the street—it’s a world away from the gross, dirty, smelly shrimp taco experience I had veered into at Brewers Row. Save yourself the trouble and go where they actually care about the food they serve.

Brewers Row has been my go-to Mexican spot in Tacoma for years, and it never misses. The food is always so good, the staff is super friendly, and the vibe is casual and cozy. Not to mention their happy hour is one of my favorites- they have generous deals on food AND drinks. 😍

I have to give a special shout out the Del Fuego nachos because they are my favorite thing on the menu. Spicy, flavorful, and absolutely massive. I get them almost every time and they still hit just as hard as the first time I tried them (and they are on the happy hour menu too!)

If you haven’t been, you’re seriously missing out. This place is a gem!! 🔥

I’m trying to get better at reviewing places. I absolutely love. Brewers row is absolutely fantastic. Has to be one of the best restaurants in North Tacoma. Definitely an underrated gym. Food is fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced always have amazing specials. I love trying new things here. You can never go wrong with just the basic tacos. I’m pretty sure they make their chips fresh in-house, as well as their salsa. Everything here is 10 out of 10
Maybe even treat yourself to a churro.
Breakfast or lunch both amazing. Definitely the best breakfast burrito I’ve had in a long time.

One of our go-to's in T Town for well-priced delish Mexican. Rotating menu of specials, burritos, nachos, happy hours, horchata lattes, large selection of beer on tap. Highly recommend.
