My husband and I have been eating at Nordstrom's Cafe for years. The food is always great and service is usually good. We feel the quality of the food and the clean, updated interior warrants the higher food prices. However, after shopping the Anniversary sale my husband and I went to lunch at Nordstrom's and we both were disappointed that the Cafe is now using paper napkins and not cloth napkins. I know it's not a big deal to some but it feels like another Nordstrom's downgrade. Just like losing the piano player and the customer service center/gift wrap. Remember those beautiful silver boxes with the bows? Or how every clerk walked around the counter to hand you your Nordstrom bag. Those days are gone....we find ourselves shopping there less.....

My girlfriend and I had a lovely brunch date Sunday. While I find it odd to order at the cashier's as I come in, only to be served and able to order more once at my table... Our server was lovely, friendly and checked our coffee all the time. My shakshuka was great... Served on a bed of Israeli couscous. My friend's waffle won raves and we shared a delicious brownie sundae. Looking forward to returning soon for more treats and chat and shopping

I had the Chef's Featured pizza with pepperoni and a variety of mushrooms, it was very delicious. For December 2024 the Chef special pizza was Birria pizza, it was amazing!

Had a really nice late afternoon lunch while finishing our Christmas shopping last week. Food was very good, though the process of ordering and paying at the counter kind of undercuts the experience of a leisurely, top tier lunch. Service was very good and the food quality was excellent. French dip sandwich, turkey sandwich and salmon were all superb, and it was a very nice lunch!

I came in here with my highly trained service dog and the manager was incredibly rude!!!!! Terrible service, not the experience im used to receiving at Nordstrom. He neglected to ask me the two LEGAL questions and the proceeded to tell me he’d unable to provide me with a bowl of water for my service dog! Shame on you Jaime!!!!!!!

Ordered a few meals online this evening. Delivery was pleasantly quick. We ordered a salad which was quite good, a French dip with a side of fries and aus jus dip, and a cheese pizza. The salad was on par with a previous order from this restaurant, but everything else seemed to drop off from here. The French dip was mid level and might have been better but for the fact that it was completely cold. By the looks of the melted cheese it was prepared a very long time before we ordered it. The aus jus dip was equally cold and seemed like it too had been prepared for someone during the days' lunch crowd. The worst part of this portion of our meal was the fries. Again, cold. And most likely made hours prior to us receiving them. Tried to reheat them but it made them no better as they should have been thrown out and not served to a customer. The pizza (surprise) was....COLD! Not impressed at all. How do you fail at making a cheese pizza?? This place figured it out by serving it cold, and by ensuring it didn't taste like a cheese pizza....sigh. Will never be ordering food from this establishment ever again. Even if I wanted something served cold.

Nordstrom Bistro is typically very good but I had the French Dip and the meat was dried out, the bun was burnt and the au jus had an odd flavor. My friend had their “Chicken Noodle Soup” which was a very thick bowl of goo. It was so unappetizing and I wonder how much cornstarch was used. So disappointing.

A little off, out of pizza dough@4;30, crab bisque showed no sign of crab other than a fishy tomato soup and out of tomato soup. First 2 picks of my wife were out, had to ask what they were out of before asking for anything else (there were 2 more). I visited one of these in Seattle and much better.

I got a free swag bag of pasta related stuff because I ordered a pasta dish. They gave me a good amount of after dinner mints. The service was very good. I've dined at this bistro for years and it's very good. I recommend their creme brulee for dessert and their kalamata olive aioli dip with fries it's addictive! I usally get the chicken and herb goat cheese sandwich. Very good by the way but, I got this gnocchi dish and because it was pasta month I got a free swag bag sponsored by Barilla since I ordered a pasta dish. If you are hungry while shopping at Nordstrom's it's a great place to check out.
