When visiting Creswick we normally go to Le Peche Gourmande for the lovely French pastries. However, on our recent visit their sit down at table area was closed and they only offered Take Away. So we moved down a few doors and tried Red Fox Lounge. It's a stretch to call this place a lounge, it's more like a basic coffee shop with amazing pies all made on the premises. I notice some reviewers thought the pies were expensive. If you want an el cheapo pie get a frozen...
Very welcoming and open environment. Walked in with our group and some locals were already singing karaoke. Great service and invited us to sing nearly immediately. Everyone in our group had a blast!
Called into the Red Fox today for some take away with my staff. The service was fantastic and the food even better. I had the spinach, feta and pine nut quiche and it was amazing. My staff both got home made pies and loved them. We will be back. Make sure if you are in Creswick you check this gem out.
