Food was delicious! We ordered satay chicken , pineapple fried rice and red curry with basil. It was altogether a good experience. So glad we found this little Thai restaurant. The owner, a very sweet Thai lady does everything herself. Hope she gets assistance soon.
The food was delicious! Defintely a 5 Star! It was Sat night and the restaurants by Tacoma Mall were all packed. So glad we found this small restaurant instead. We ordered chicken satay, pineapple fried rice and red curry with basil. The owner, a very sweet lady did everything herself and she was just amazing. Hope she gets some assistance soon.

Chaya Thai is a small, cozy restaurant serving delicious and flavorful Thai food. The service is great, with friendly and attentive staff, including the kind lady owner who takes care of customers' needs. The dining area is clean and filled with natural light, with a high chair available for kids. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible with a ramp at the front door. Popular dishes include Tom Kha with tofu, pork pad kee mao, and the jungle curry. Customers enjoy the option to adjust the spice level to taste, and the restaurant offers a free private parking lot, conveniently located near the mall. Recent reviews mention tasty food like yellow chicken curry with potatoes and white rice, which was not too spicy at a 3 spice level. The staff is praised for being friendly and bringing ice water promptly. Guests also appreciate quick service, fresh ingredients, and the chance to try dishes such as garlic chicken and veggie egg rolls. Although portions are small, the prices are very affordable, allowing customers to enjoy multiple dishes for less than many other Thai restaurants. The ambiance may be simple, but the good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices make Chaya Thai a popular spot.
