I’ve had 3 experiences with this restaurant. The first was an order of chicken pad thai several months ago that was absolutely drowning in sauce to the point that I couldn’t eat it. The second was last week when I ordered the basil fried rice with pineapple. It was delicious - so good that I decided to get another order of the exact same thing today. This time, it was slimey and drenched in some sweet and sour tasting sauce, so I took it back and asked them to remake it. Instead of remaking it, the chef wanted to gaslight me by saying it was ‘wet from the pineapple juices’. I have very short lunch breaks, all of which I wasted today just trying to get my food. The hostesses are so sweet, but the chef’s ego needs some work. For $20+ a plate I expect much better quality, flavor and service.

The complementary soup at the beginning of the meal was a great way to start our 5th anniversary dinner. The main course was delicious, complimented by excellent service and classy jazz music. After the meal, they brought us a refreshing mint to round out the pallet. This was a phenomenal experience. Highly recommend. And well priced!
When the main cook is there...the food is AMAZING! GREAT Flavor and good size portion. Its clean and the front Staff are very welcoming 🙏🏽. By far, when I am working in Tacoma and have meetings, I will 100% pick this spot to eat and meet. They know me so much so, that when I enter the front door my order is already in! I love the red curry dish and basil fried rice. Both served with a 5 star spice and fried tofu. Dishes are good 👍🏾 😋

This place used to be so good and would come here for Thai Food. Now, it's not the same anymore. My daughter ordered me papaya salad and Phad Thai with shrimp and chicken which cost $22 smfh!! Would never again pay for that. Papaya salad used to be really good there but what I had was terrible. Was mainly taste just fish sauces and cut up peppers?? smfh and my daughter ordered the Laos Style which it did not came out to be Laos Styles.... never again going there.
This is our new spot to go now! Best Thai food in Town! Tasty very authentic 🫶🏼
The employees are great. The atmosphere is great. The food is not so great. The chicken is dry tastes like it's been sitting out all day. Same with the beef. I had maybe 8 to 10 bites of food. (Not very big bites either.) And my stomach cannot stop cramping. I feel like I'm going to throw up. I picked up the food at 6:58 pm on April 30, 2025 and began to eat at 7:10 pm. It is now 7:27 pm. It hit me that fast... I threw up while typing this. Please someone get a food inspector there. No I'm not a bot.
Food was good. They were under staffed for lunch rush. Food was delivered without napkins or utensils kitchen staff. We waited for a few minutes while food was getting cold and finally got up and obtained utensils ourselves.
I usually go to the puyallup location and is great but this time we tried the tacoma one. I ordered the spicy noodles with seafood and it was terrible. Looked like it was leftover reheated food
.

I visited Tacoma Art Museum and searched restaurants near me to find this gem. Absolutely outstanding food, perfectly spiced with attentive service, beautifully presented. One person in our party has food sensitivities and the server recommended how to talk about them to get best results.
Vegetarian options: Just about everything is served with tofu as an option.

Took my wife here for dinner and we were not disappointed. We were seated right away, everyone was super nice, and the food was amazing! I usually order the Thai basil chicken?, but this time I decided to try the Shoo Shee Salmon....OMG! I was not disappointed! Now I'm wondering what other deliciousness awaits on their menu?

I expected more based off what my coworkers told me about. The lady taking my order didn’t listen to me and I got up charged for an item I didn’t order. I couldn’t eat what she rang me up for cause I’m allergic to seafood. The food was bland to top it off, it was not worth the 30 bucks I paid

I stopped in for lunch. The price of $10.95 for their lunch specials seems very fair. The service I received was great. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. It seemed somewhat bland. I will probably not go here again.

I always order their classic fried rice and every time it is absolutely delicious! They're super fast too.
