Cider spot with a treehouse vibe and woodsy atmosphere. But instead of drinking juice, you're drinking cider.

Great spot with great people, but the lights are uncomfortably bright. It seriously detracts from an otherwise great spot.

Would also be great if they offered dessert

I love this place -- no TV just great conversations and a wonderful interesting selection of ciders. The watermelon jalapeno was great ?

Everything about this is unlike any other cidery you’ve ever seen. It feels like you’re stepping into a forest, it’s an amazing escape from busy city life.

This place is awesome! Cider offerings are always fun and tasty. The staff is so nice, always going above and beyond to make sure your experience is excellent. The chef, Zach, is always coming up with fun new stuff. My advice - try allllll the dipping sauces. So good!

Great service, and lovely drinks! As a hard of hearing person, it was really nice to be able to go somewhere where the vibes are chill and we could find a spot to have a conversation!

Cider & Cedar is a lovely little bar focused on alcoholic cider. While I'd love to hang out here, the offerings are extremely limited. The type of ciders are limited in profile to primarily dry and wine forward... Nothing much fruity or sweet. My husband is a cider drinker and he didn't really care for the 10 offerings.
I will drink cider, but prefer beer. Unfortunately C&C needs to expand their options in both wine and beer if they want to have broad appeal. Maybe they are purists, which I respect but am not really interested in.
The food offerings are limited as well... But nicely done. I respect they're trying to expand their offerings... It's hard to budget this for small businesses...I wish them success.
I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a lovely spot to pass some time downtown.

First and last time here. I get the feeling it was fantastic in the past, but has since fallen. Vibe is immaculate. Dark greens and wood. The chairs and tables are beautiful. That's where the good parts end.

The selection of drinks is a little weak. Ciders are not great, despite having a flight of 4. Minimal beer, and no wine or liquor selections.

Don't bother expecting food here. It's a meager selection of fried food id expect at a dive bar (wings, mozz sticks, etc). Despite the charcuterie boards being prominent on reviews and pictures, they are no longer offered. I expected a little more upscale food/snack offerings.

Service was fine. Bartender seemed annoyed to answer questions and reluctant when we asked to try one of the ciders.

Avoid.

Wish I could give more stars. The only thing wrong with this place is that more people do not know about it. The owners were behind the bar with an awesome story for each piece of wood/furniture, and great recommendations for drinks and food. The jalapeño bites with goat cheese and CANDIED BACON were delicious. I loved my lavender bergamot cider. Can’t wait to bring more people here. I know they have plans in the mix, but I think a small live band every once in a while would be AMAZING!

Conveniently placed in Tacoma, walking distance (6 minutes) from places like Dorky’s. Perfect for a date, meeting up with friends to play board games, a light brunch spot and many other things. Beautiful atmosphere with lots of live plants, reclaimed wood and metal that is all sourced from Ruby Beach or Tacoma itself.

Would absolutely recommend if you enjoy a bar not just to drink, but for the energy and company you can have when you’re there.

Great service! Love the vibe and atmosphere…. Super aesthetic. Drinks are always delicious with a great selection as well. We had fries and jalapeño wrapped with candied bacon last time we were in and both dishes were delicious!!

I didn't order food, so I won't comment on that. Stopped in before going to a show downtown. This eas a great place to enjoy a night out with friends.
