Delish! Great coffee, fresh made pastries (made in-house), and super friendly staff...what more could you want? Coffee Kitchen has quickly become my favorite cafe in Lakewood/Tacoma. Definitely recommend trying the red bean and coffee buns, they keep me coming back!

The lady at the register was super nice and helpful.
Coffee was good and I also recommend their bakery.
Sweet potato bread, coffee bun, almond bun, and hot dog bread were all delicious.

Bright and cozy atmosphere. We got the strawberry matcha, honey latte, and a bunch of bread to take home. All were superb! The ladies working here are also warm and inviting. Would definitely recommend this place to work or just to hang out and chat with friends.

Ordered a cold brew with oat milk, friendly ladies with quick service. Beautiful and clean atmosphere. They also had lots of pastries and gluten free Dacquiose in strawberry, vanilla, and matcha. Next time I will try the bakery items 😋

Hidden gem! Super cozy inside with the perfect balance of chill vibes and great coffee. Got an affogato that was chef’s kiss. Definitely a favorite on this side of town.

Best Korean baked goods offered by the nicest couple offering tasty coffee and teas as well in a quaint cafe. Americano hit the spot and my friend's strawberry iced matcha drink was the decadence I didn't know I needed in my life. The salt bread crust is so addicting it's pending schedule III status. They were sold out but I really want to try the mammoth.

I was looking for a nice sit-in cafe and so far, this place has not been beaten. It has a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere and comfortable seating. Easy place to study in or have a conversation with friends. Both the food and drinks are top notch (which is awesome because I've been disappointed by many cafe's chai and matcha before) and you'll always be in for a surprise since they keep a seasonal menu with rotating drinks. The pastries aren't too sweet and are made fresh in-house. Everything is very reasonably priced too. As of July 2025, the most expensive thing on the menu is about $6 with many of the pastries being priced under $5. All of the food and drinks come in to-go packaging so if you don't have the time to stay you can do a quick stop by since they're very quick. However I highly recommend staying for a few hours if you can because the service is excellent--they'll bring your food and drink right to your table.

The salted bread sold here is insanely good, even better than the ones I had in Korea.
