I would like to say that if you want some real soul food this is the place to go. I got the fish and chicken collard greens and mac & cheese oh and a peach cobbler. I’m so stuffed and the food was amazing and everybody knows how picky I am about food especially Soulfood. Pajama mama great job and I will always remember our conversation, “keep it to yourself”

The food was so good!!! I ordered the Mama's Platter plus mac & cheese and collard greens for takeout. Everything was seasoned to perfection and very flavorful! It was was packed nicely and still piping hot as if I had just taken it out of my own oven when I got it home. The portions are big also. Enjoyed everything and definitely will be back!

We sat outside...I ordered the cod and chicken combo. The food was delicious..seasoned and fried to perfection and equally matched by the great customer service!! The rum cake topped it off and I officially declared a food coma?. This hidden gem is a must. I'll be back soon...

A little overwhelmed they might have been, things going okay but my friend said her Pork Chop was fried in the fish grease, I got charged twice I think they did not know how to work the little white machine now let me say this was when they first opened ! Maybe I will go again now we are open to eating out!

I know the restaurant is closed due to a death in the family. Praying for your strength during this time. I will be excited to visit soon as the restaurant opens again. You still are #1 in every item on your menu and my stomach is missing the flavor!! Best Restaurant in Tacoma by far.

This spot is NEVER open!!!!! Idk who the owner is but they need to stop taking up space and let someone more driven get that location. They should put a Buddy's Chicken & Waffles there!

Nice local gem near the Tacoma Dome. Nice artwork on displace. We had fried catfish, fried chicken, red beans & rice, greens, mac & cheese as the main meal. The sides rum cake and peach cobbler. It was good.
The food was tasty and delicious. I highly recommend it.

Love the food. You know he feeling... when you just take one bite, sit back and get angry because you know you're about to tear it up. It's THAT good!! It's been a minute since I've been back and I wish she was open all the time, but it's well worth it. I'm definitely going back. Shoot! I'm angry now because my mouth is watering and It's after hours. Don't get too busy like me and miss the opportunity to have this delicious food!!

I order my food from here on a regular. The prices are a steal for the portion you receive. She prepares the food fresh each day. I have enjoyed everything on the menu. Each time I have been met with a smile and pleasant conversation. Her food reminds me of being home. I give her 10 stars!!!!
