Amazing Apple Fritter!!!!
Recommended dishes: Apple Fritter
So I'm a latino person and me and my family went around 4pm on a Monday which is when it's OPEN
we went in because my family was craving donuts and so we thought we'd get some but the owner or whoever was working there was like nasty and said no. they let us get drinks tho but they said we couldn't stay inside saying they're closed now. Keep in mind it was cold.. Anyway, we went outside to drink our drinks and thought that we probably arrived too late. Then 10 minutes later we see a white family pull up and we thought they'd be denied service but they were LET IN and I'm not really sure if they got donuts because we had to go but I saw them sit down and the owner/worker looked like they were being nicer to them. I was appalled because I didn't think that could happen to us but it did and I dislike this place very much. this happened a year or 2 ago and the only reason I'm writing this review is because Earlier today I drove by it and remembered that this happened AND because I forgot to review it when it happened. 0 stars I felt VERY discriminated against.

My stop on my way to work every Sunday. Simply amazing!!!
Fantastic local place to get fresh donuts! She had been here for a long time, and had a very good assortment of donuts she makes fresh each day.
My favorite are the maple covered crullers... Delicious! She also makes espresso here, so it's a nice place to stop on your way to the freeway or downtown Tacoma.

The chocolate cake donut had a rich cocoa flavor with a subtle note of espresso which I greatly appreciated. The red velvet donuts were some of the best cake donuts I've had ever - Real red velvet flavor with a nice cream cheese icing and not too sweet.
The raised donuts are on the denser side - if you're into that, they go great with coffee.
Opened a little after posted time, so be patient! It was worth it.
Love the donuts, just not enough parking.

Connie's Donuts is a bit of a treasure. Very good coffee, but the donuts are also handmade and there's a great variety of them.
I love this place! 🚴♀️
I've been going here for years and its my favorite place for coffee and doughnuts. 10 out of 10 recommend 👌
Connie’s Donuts & Espresso is a true local gem that combines classic charm with genuine hospitality. The donuts are fresh, fluffy, and made with care — from old-fashioned glazed to maple bars and filled varieties, each one has that perfect homemade taste.
The coffee is strong and satisfying, making it a great stop whether you're grabbing a quick breakfast or just in need of a pick-me-up. What really sets this place apart is the friendly service — Connie and her team make everyone feel like a regular.
If you’re in the area and love supporting small businesses with big heart and great taste, this spot is well worth the visit.
Fresh donuts, friendly and quick service, delicious sodas and lattes. Nothing to complain about
