Fascinating little place! Well, normal restaurant-sized, but with a vision and a legacy much larger than its building.

I haven’t met the chef yet but I would love to chat with them —they focus on a different cuisine every 6 or 7 months. When it was Jamaican, it was amazing; when it was French, it was amazing; not sure which cuisine is next in the rotation, or how that decision is made, but they don’t just swap out the signature dishes, they also change the decor and the wall art!

The signature dishes are not just a nod to the cuisine-of-the-season, but a serious attempt to make it authentic and make it exemplary. Each one has succeeded.

They also maintain certain favorite menu items no matter what, and it seems they have a loyal local following for those (and those are great too).

Altogether Cook’s Tavern offers surprisingly good food at good prices in a comfortable family-friendly atmosphere with attentive and gracious service. We plan to go back regularly, especially when there’s another cuisine change!

Fantastic Jamaican inspired menu. Outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day. The crushed red potatoes and beignets are both amazing.

We ate brucb8 for $75 including some alcohol

Have been here several times, never disappointed. Had the lemon chicken, very good, jerked pork, fabulous. The only thing that I didn't like was the drink prices. $10 for a glass of beer is too much. 9 out of 10 will return.

We have been going here for our anniversary for 3 years now and plan on every year in the future. They always have very pleasant staff, great food, and little to no wait time. Cannot say enough good thing about this establishment!

Cook’s Tavern consistently delivers excellent food with a menu that balances seasonal creativity and dependable favorites. The Tavern Salad is always fresh and simple. The Lamb Burger is one of the best, with great flavor.

Drinks are just as solid. The Blood Orange Margarita is bright, well-balanced, and not overly sweet easily a go-to cocktail here.

Service is efficient and friendly, and the space has a comfortable, unpretentious vibe. It’s the kind of spot you can return to regularly and still find something new to enjoy.

Worst biscuits and gravy i have ever tasted. Simple recipe ruined with what I think was turkey sausage (not sure) and seasoning was so far off....you couldn't cover it's distaste with a gallon of hot sauce! The people however where very nice.

Party of 4 for my nephews birthday party. Zach was our server who had amazing presence and really knew what he was up to! Bravo to Zach. The new menu did not disappoint. 10 out of 10 - 100% recommend. We'll be back. Beignets for dessert - cherry on top of a lovely evening.
