I mean this in the most positive way: This place is peak hipster. Like, encyclopedia-reference hipster. Your standard offerings plus unique espresso-alternative options. I tried the mushroom mocha with an added shot, it was very different but good. The barista--I already forgot his name sadly--but he was super friendly and authentic, nice to chat with. Great place. Great merch and local market items as well!

wow!! the person working was so friendly and kind, really above and beyond. even the other customers were chill and personable. i was also seriously impressed with the baristas technique! and of course, the coffee was fantastic. really a top notch spot.

Went there to support a local spot. They recently had their window broken. The person there still helped make me an awesome cup of coffee. They noticed I walked over from the hospital where my son was having surgery. Super friendly and spreading positive vibes with the stellar coffee. Thanks again for the kindness. One of my favorite cafes in Tacoma, I love the design and location as well as the coffee and snacks. They also are very chill about my service dog which is great! It's a little expensive for a cafe but imo it's worth it. I just wish they didn't have such limited hours, they're only open until 2pm so good luck getting there before it closes if you're not able to go in the morning.

We had 2 lattes, both were better or at the least just as good as Bluebeards & Valhalla. We were told the syrups were not made in-house but that they are sourced locally. Barista/owner totally awesome & the vibe very vintage grit. We will be back no doubt!
Got a tasty mocha here after leaving my campsite, and the donuts were super tempting. They prefer cash so I'd bring more to pay that way next time. Also dogs are allowed inside. Definitely coming back
