We have eaten here several times before and always enjoyed it. The food is unique and very good. Last night I had the charcuterie plate which was excellent and the tomato soup was in a class by itself. Unfortunately my wife's pasta dish was not properly cooked. She'd had it before and it was good but this time the texture was not good and there was less seafood than usual. As to the service, we were one of the first parties in the restaurant but it was an hour for the food to come out. That's a long time for pasta and a cold dish. My wife only ate about a third of her dish. When the waitress came to take the dishes away she asked if we wanted to take the pasta home. My wife said no. At that point the usual question would be, "Was everything ok?" but we were never asked that question. No one seemed interested in why she left most of her dish uneaten and didn't want to take it home.It may be a while before we go back.

Not gunna lie, after all the hype I’ve heard from Crudo, I was a little disappointed. We went for the New Year’s Eve pre fixed 5-course menu, super excited to try the chefs new items. The appetizers were okay (lacked salt/flavor), the pasta (delicious, sauces were wonderful), salad (delicious and lite), the main courses (dry and over done), and the dessert (delicious). I really hope this was a one off of because it was a different menu and probably a lot of items were made in batch. We’re gunna wait a bit to try again but honestly, for two people to have a $300+ dinner? Not worth it. Overall, the food was pretty disappointing. The real positives are the staff though. Our server was AMAZING. So bubbly and nice, same with our hostess. Thank you for all the smiles and friendliness you guys had the whole evening ♥️♥️ because of you two, we will eventually be back.Dietary restrictions: They were very receptive for dietary restrictions since I am allergic to nuts.

Menu is simple but quality of food is absolutely amazing! It is quiet, classy, with double linen-clothed tables and fun antique European styled cutlery — fine dining in a casual setting. Good wine selection too! Special wine pairing dinners are not to be missed and deserve top rating! A rare-find in Tacoma.

Brianna,Thanks for the Excellent Service. Zach Leal you are an amazing Chef. The Oysters were delicious and a work of Art. The Rockfish was the best I ever tasted. The Kampachi like no other. The Binnet's should be illegal. I call them Santa Monica CRACK. YOU WILL WANT TO KEEP COMING BACK!!!! I can't wait to come back and try more dishes.ThanksSincerely,John Grey and Family

This place is highly under the radar - Have had fantastic meals every time we've come through! Menu changes seasonally! Been here many times, wine list is amazing, cocktails are on point. Seafood and vegetarian dishes are delicious! One of our favorites!

This place is HIGHLY under rated! The food, the service is awesome. They'll make you feel like you're the only one in the restaurant! I love that! Talk about a catered meal to your preference! If you had a bad meal you told them the wrong thing, this is on you!

This is the best rest restaurant in the Proctor area, the service, food, and ambiance.... We had the brunch and the uova contadino and crostone al tonno, and the crostatini di fruttaThis restaurant also takes care of there employees- 10% is included for the entire team. This is very similar to Europe, and I totally recommend it and endorse it.You'll be glad you went to this restaurant

Had dinner here recently - best restaurant experience my wife and I have ever had in Tacoma. Nice, knowledgeable staff with the perfect balance of knowing when to check on you and leaving you alone. Knew everything about the food for the day. Great food, good wine selection, all the employees were very friendly. Very relaxed atmosphere in an old, converted single family home. Highly recommend the caprese salad.

Excellent meal, but come hungry for the tasting menu. We ordered wine, oysters, and the tasting menu. Got one of each option. Oysters were fresh and the mignonette options were tasty. I preferred the spicy one. I liked the caprese better than the pickled vegetables, but the smoked seafood was unique and fun. For the pasta course, both options were awesome, but it's a lot of food portion wise so you may want to box half. For the main course the game hen was memorably the best item of the evening. Nicely crispy and juicy. Desserts were a hazelnut mousse and a fruit tart. Both were tasty although I'm not partial to hazelnut.Probably a good place for an anniversary or special night out. It's fancy and takes time. We arrived at 7 and left close to 10 ( but we did the tasting menu that takes longer than ala carte). Dress fancy or dress casual is appropriate.I wouldn't bring kids, but there were some middle school age ones around and they did alright.Parking was plentiful. I'd go again and order the caprese and chicken again.

Amazing! One of the meat meals I've ever had! Let's start with our waiter, Alex, who was a waiter/bartender extraordinaire! He knew just what we would like and you can tell that making drinks is an art for him. Wow!We started with oysters. I had a dozen of mixed varieties and they were fantastic! My friend tempted me with an oyster shooter---these are not the frat boy things you did years ago, They. Were , Delicious!I had a plate with smoked fish--highly recommend. I finished my meal with the Panna Cotta. PERFECTION!!The restaurant has a good size patio, cute tables and a memorable bathroom!

Chi was our waitress and provided excellent information about the specials as well as menu items. She even alerted us to portion sizes and offered up the 4 course special which we jumped on. Warning you will walk away full. The food was exceptional and satisfying. We are delighted and will be back.Dietary restrictions: Chi, after introducing herself asked about dietary restrictions.

We had 19 people in our party and they accommodated nicely with reservations! The food was exquisite, plated beautifully. Chef Giampaolo was thoughtful in his presentation. The Insalata with nectarine and prosciutto was a hit. Sweet and savory flavors. Pollo Fritto was light with a touch of orange, the pasta was certainly Al dente; my favorite was Calamarata alla Zozzona (red sauce w pork), but the Busiati (cream sauce w local mushrooms) was a close second. I loved the Tartufo Nero for dessert but our guests also loved the fruit tart! Kathryn was the perfect hostess. Cannot wait to bring others here for another delightful meal.

Wonderful dining experience! We had a small family gathering at Crudo & Cotto. The food we shared around the table and the paired wines were perfect. This is a lovely restaurant.
