Heads up it’s dark in there, but this place has awesome atmosphere.

Great rum bar with an HP Lovecraft tiki theme. I honestly don't even want to share this place with anyone as it feels special enough that I want to keep it all to myself. The drinks are stiff and wonderful. Enjoy the grog and shed a tear for Lord Admiral Nelson in what may be the best bathroom in Tacoma.

Great service from the male bartender. I do wish there was the option to get an alcohol that wasn’t rum but the female bartender said they only had rum.

Drinks were decent, although not sure why my requiem for a Doomed Star tasted like licorice when that's not an ingredient. My wife's Kingsport Festival was good. Air flow is a bit of an issue so it was stuffy.
Edit - Just want to point out that nowhere in the drinks menu description does it say Absinthe.

Visited here this past weekend. Very popular spot, but their waiting list system works well. A wide variety of drinks with some creative names. Top-level theming. The only way it would be better is if they would add some more dramatic flair to their drinks (eg: fancier classes/mugs, special effects like fire, smoke, etc).

One of, if not the best tiki bar on the west coast. This place flies under the radar but the cocktails are as if imported from the black shores of Carcosa itself.
I felt a little bullied ordering drinks here, the menu is huge which is cool but I don’t usually drink rum so I asked the bartender for a fruit forward tiki drink she would recommend.
She said she couldn’t make me a fruity drink, so I said okay could I get an undead gentleman (common tiki drink). She said she couldn’t make it, so I asked her if she had a favorite drink and she ignored me to look up an undead gentleman. Then she said she actually could make it.
I was like oh okay if not no worries I can get something else but she insisted.
Brings it to the table and says this is the best I could do, and I don’t think it was the best she could do

Incredible and imaginative libations abound on this robust tiki menu! I only had the pleasure of one cocktail but it was one of the best mai tais I've had in a long time. I definitely want to come back and try some food and peruse the menu a bit more. Three cheers for Steve the Pirate!

One of the best themed Tiki bars I've visited. All of the drinks are great.
It's my favorite tiki bar! Lovecraft inspired dark 'pirate' vibe. An assortment of strong drinks and great flavors. Super place to start your night.
