We enjoyed our dinner with a notable exception and that was the Lobster Roll with Fries; the Brioche Bun was soggy by the time we got the plate and fries weren't fresh. Very disappointing for the price! The Lobster Risotto Balls and the Sourdough Bread were to die for! Our server Britney was fabulous!
The drink and bread service was slow with this server. The fish and fries tasted of burnt cooking oil. The quality of the fries needs to be better. The ambiance was wonderful.
We had a breathtaking beautiful view next to the water on the patio Food was tasty but several hours later I was very thirsty Waiter gave excellent service
Service and value of the food was amazing, but the piping hot sourdough bread with butter and clam chowder will keep us coming back!
Lovely lunch for a birthday celebration. The staff were all kind, efficient and attentive. Always a great experience!
The hostess is clueless ( if you ask for a window table and they say there are none available, when clearly they just don't want to put you at one)
outdoor seating is great except the sun beat down on my neck and the requested umbrella was pretty useless. I requested to sit where sun wouldn't bother me -- and there were a few tables I could see fit my need -- but in the end, I could only thank the not-terribly-warm evening. I am sure I'd enjoy my wonderful food more if the environment didn't plague me.
A big shoutout to Duke's Seafood Restaurant for their incredibly generous gift of gift certificates for our amazing teachers at Browns Point Elementary School! Your kindness truly helps us show how much we appreciate the hard work and dedication of our fantastic educators. We feel so lucky to have such a thoughtful partner in our community—thank you for making a difference!
We sat on the patio and had a beautiful view of Mt. Rainier! The food was delicious and the chowder was exquisite. It's a little on the spendy side, but so, so tasty!
They are known for their clam chowder. I don't care for clam chowder, however, I do like fish and chips. Their fish is nice cod and pretty darn good, but the chips part of that is NOT. The tartar sauce and ketchup were okay but the slaw was just cut up cabbage. My husband ordered the rockfish taco that comes with tortilla chips and salsa. According to him, they were pretty good. His dish came with a small bowl of clam chowder which doesn't belong with tacos and salsa. It just doesn't. With one exception, the carrot cake was good for dessert however, I asked for Sweet N Low with my coffee and was given stevia and sugar in the raw. The wait staff is exceptional and attentive to the diner's needs. All in all, it was a free birthday meal and worth it.

It was really loud and the music was way too high. Service was way slower than usual. I was told by a waiter a while back that since I cannot have butter that I can sub for avocado, so I always asked for it with the bread. For the first time ever after many years of getting it for free, I was charged almost $3 for it without even being told. It then took almost 20 minutes for the bill to come after I'd already given her the card. I've always enjoyed coming to Dukes, but this time wasn't pleasurable for our date night.
Amazing service by Kate with an incredible view on the patio. The food and drinks were delicious and overall it was a pleasant dining experience. I would recommend to anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal with a beautiful view and great service (not to mention ample parking as well).
My parents flew out from PA to visit me in WA for the first time and our first stop after the airport pickup was Duke's. From the beautiful balcony food, the wonderful soup and salad and the wait staff that went above and beyond, everything about our experience was excellent. Thank you for such great first impression. As a bonus, I am celiac and my concerns were handled seriously and professionally. Thank you! We will be back for sure
The salads were great but the combo with a fish taco and cup of chowder was very expensive for what it was. There was not a lot fish on the taco - just a lot of cabbage.
On my many visits to Duke's I have always left with a happy, memorable feeling encompassing the whole experience.
