We had their sausage egg sandwich on brioche buns. They were super hot and tasty. The coffee drinks used great chocolate in the mocha and a creme brûlée latte with their caramel whipped cream! We were at their newest location on Ruston and the barista was hustling to keep up with the business.

10/10 everything. The vibe, decor, the menu , the instagram, the balance in the beverage! The homemade whipped cream! Who are you people?! I’m in love. I don’t live in the area and it was a fluke I stumbled upon this place, but I would literally go out of my way any time I’m in Tacoma or passing thru to come here. Was pricey - ish. But that was for 2 iced coffees and 2 sandwiches. Prepare to splurge and not regret it.

Let me tell you!!! & put you on!!! I took another route on my way to work this morning and decided to stop by to get something small. I think i have been here twice since i moved to Tacoma, & i always leave feeling great. I pulled up to the drive through window and was greeted by two ladies (who worked 9/12 AM, CENTER ST Location) They were very friendly and sweet and overall made my morning. I had a rough night and getting out the door to work was hard and the simple engagement i had with these two really made my day! What turned out to me dreading to go to work turned into an "I'm going to have a good day" attitude. I work in the hospitality industry so when i recognize great customer service i always need to acknowledge it! You never know what anyone is going through now days and that a simple conversation with a stranger goes a long way. Thank you for making my day ladies!!

I don’t normally leave reviews, but this place was just so great! My partner and I just moved to Tacoma and since we hadn’t unpacked the coffee maker I decided we should check this place out as a treat! We were not disappointed!
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! We loved them. They were full of recommendations. They have rotating flavored whip creams which are delicious. My partner had pistachio and I had chocolate. The pistachio was so so yummy.
Everything was delicious! I see a lower rating on here and I literally can’t imagine how anyone could be disappointed by this spot. The coffee is bomb and you get an actual hot breakfast all at a traditional PNW coffee drive through stand.

My girlfriend and I just moved to Tacoma and were looking for a quick coffee and grub spot. We came across Wide Awake and are so stoked to become regulars!! We were greeted by extremely friendly staff who helped guide us through the food menu and help make decisions ?? The coffee and food are beyond delicious! We got 2 brown sugar lattes with pistachio and dark chocolate whipped cream and a fiesta burrito and breakfast bowl! Can’t wait for our next visit!
First the staff are outstanding, friendly, great at what they do, and just make a wonderful cup of coffee. Second, the food is really top notch, the sandwiches are just to die for really. The Brisket sandwich especially is amazing. I highly recommend them if you are in the area.

My wife and I decided to stop here before heading out for the day based on the good reviews. This place was a disappointment. Only giving two stars because the workers were friendly.
We were told they were out of the first two burritos that were ordered and also that modifications could not be made to food orders. At first I didn’t think much of this, but when I got to the window (we were greeted by the girl walking up to our car) it made more sense to me. In my opinion the use of Jimmy Dean boxes all over the place to serve food is unacceptable. The breakfast bowl was mediocre at best and understandable.. I debated canceling my order when I saw all the Jimmy Dean boxes but I decided to let it go and just see it through.
With out 20% tip out cost came out to $29 for two frozen meals and one burnt tasting coffee. Maybe I’m naive to the rest of the world, but I cannot imagine selling frozen grocery store products should be the norm for business. Huge disappointment for such a cute place with friendly staff.
