Love this small place - the welcoming atmosphere, the decor, food, friendly and efficient service, the quiet music. Miso soup is very good. Kyudon Donburi - large! and very good. Saba Shioyaki - a bit tough this time; last time it was just perfect. Tea was perfect.

Ogenki Desu ka!!??? Genki de ne!!! Oishii Desu ne!!! Sashimi is 10 +. Excellent cut traditional style. Ordered short ribs and teriyaki bento to go for lunch —-traditional style. Hai! Itadakimasu!!!!!! This place is clean, kitchen is clean, real sushi chefs -traditional style & highly recommend this restaurant to even my Japanese friends and Native American friends as authentic and excellent as one can get in the Pacific Northwest. They have a stellar choice of traditional and high end sake choices. Unusual place for sushi and unbelievably delicious!!!! A gem on the way to Pt Defiance ferry !!!!
I’ve been here many times before and have always loved the food and service. I believe they recently changed ownership and I hadn’t been in for a few months. Decided to grab some takeout after work last night. I ordered the crunch roll and fried Gyoza. Within 30 minutes of finishing my meal I was violently ill. I’m a restaurant manager myself and know the signs of food poisoning well. Not a fun experience and I won’t be going back.

I order the crunch roll with spicy mayo on the side and it is ALWAYS delicious and very well made. The staff is extremely curteous & friendly and the restaurant is very neat and quaint.

Great sushi! This place is absolutely charming and the service was exceptional! I highly recommend dining here. Our sushi was amazing, and the bento box was sooo good! Not to mention the cute little tea pot set up .. how fun :) What a little gem! We’ll definitely be back.
