Absolutely terrible business with deceitful owners. We went in to eat, and they relentlessly pressured us to buy more items and to get the buffet. After paying, we discovered a day or two later that they had charged us an extra $15 for a tip we didn’t leave. When we called to complain, they had the nerve to lecture us about how we should tip. Although we eventually got the money back, it’s infuriating to see so many other reviews with similar stories. It makes me wonder how many times they’ve pulled this scam on unsuspecting customers who haven’t noticed. Their practices are utterly shameful and disgusting.

I signed off on one total, and I ended up getting charged a different total $15-20 more than that! This business is literally committing fraud, which I reported.
Also, the server was incredibly pushy about upselling us on the all you can eat buffet and appetizers, which we declined several times.
The food was good, but it's not worth the poor treatment and straight up fraud.

Dinner for two (Full appetizer and two entrees) for right at $100. The dining experience was worth it. Great service, amazing flavors, and the food was out extremely quickly. Wish I was a local so I could eat here more often.

We came in at lunch for the buffet. It was well stocked and the lady was polite and filled our waters. However, when the bill came we were shocked to discover an automatic 19.89% gratuity on the check. We had four clean, polite children and two adults and our total was $143. $20 of that was gratuity. On a buffet. We felt like we got robbed. We have been going to Gateway for the last ten years, including their location in Gig Harbor. This experience today left such a negative impression that we will not be back. To the owners, I have to ask- is that added gratuity worth it to lose repeat customers and get angry reviews? It’s a shame.

I like the food here. Everytime I have gone service is slow, something always gets missed (this weekend I ordered naan that never made the table), the seats in the booths are all falling apart so they are uncomfortable. The food is good and the spice levels are legit so order accordingly.
