It was our first time dining at Grann... The service, cocktails, starters, entrees + shared creme brulee dessert were nothing short of amazing! We'll definitely be back to this neighborhood gem!

Really great atmosphere, it smells incredible the second you enter, and the decor and music is on point. Food was great, appetizers through desserts and the drinks were good too. They have the allergens for each dish labeled on the menu which is really nice.
Will be back.

First time coming and won’t be the last. Fish and grits were amazing and would definitely order cornbread and collard greens again. Can’t wait to try more and taste the next seasons menu.

I loved my food! Our table ordered a shrimp po boy, goat gumbo, crawfish risotto, fish and grits, beet butter cornbread, goat gumbo, collard greens. It was all 10/10. Can’t wait to try more items on the menu. One of the owners came to our table and talked to us. Humble, kind, and delicious flavors. I loved meeting Brianna and Denzel they were so personable.

Perfect night at Grann! The greens, so good, thanks Denzel for the little extra taste! This is more than BBQ, it is cultures meeting, blended into amazing food, care and positive vibes. The rotating menu is exciting and means your next visit will give a whole new experience. Oh, don't pass up the bread pudding, pan seared, what, and so moist.

Had a wonderful bday dinner here before going to a concert at the Tacoma dome. Owner was so kind and sweet and gave us a bottle of champagne for my bday. Food was lovely and service was amazing. They took customer service to the next level. Really enjoyed the salads, Soft shell crab, grits, cornbread and the bread pudding (this is a must)

This fusion bistro is a hidden gem, truly spot on. The menu changes with the seasons, keeping things fresh and exciting.
We started with the Artichoke Puri — bursting with flavor and perfectly balanced with mustard seeds — along with two comforting cups of Red Beans & Rice.
For the main course, we enjoyed a half chicken that was beautifully seasoned and a Shrimp Po Boy Sandwich served with a crisp side salad.
The standout, though, was the Goat Gumbo with Basmati Rice — rich, aromatic, and absolutely scrumptious.
Cheers with Apple Mules; Mango Lassi Cocktail: Engine 9 IPA Beer.

Our office staff came to Grann for dinner before our annual convention. We were seated right away and drinks were offered. Our order was taken promptly and the atmosphere was high energy. One of the owners came by to check on us and introduced himself. He was very friendly. The other partner and ownership swung by quickly, but was clearly busy delivering food. Both were friendly and interested in our experience. The servers were great as well. One meal was a little slow and delivery compared to the other three at our table, but it all worked out. The chicken was exceptional. It was moist and tender, and cooked all the way through without parts of the chicken being dry. It was a huge serving and I was able to eat three meals off of the half chicken. The flavors were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I don't really write reviews, but my meal tonight was amazing. I had the goat gumbo. The flavors were rich, the spice was just right, and the best part was the aftertaste. Three hours later and I'm still enjoying it. The others in my party enjoyed their meals too, although they each felt the portions were too big. (Not a bad thing--just way more than they could eat.) But the gumbo is a smaller dish than they had, and I felt it was the perfect portion size. The pricing is very reasonable, especially considering how much food they give you. I look forward to trying the rest of the menu!

Super cool restaurant. Almost didn't stay because when we walked in it was hot bordering on stifling. was in September 2025 I do not think they had been open for very long. They were kind enough to open the door to let some air in.. The people were very very nice! The service was on pointe. I thought it was a little pricey. Maybe I'm just cheap, but $10 for one slice of cornbread seems like a lot. It was delicious though! The food was good but not great. I think it would have helped if everything would have been served hot. It was lukewarm. The seasons change and so does the menu.
