We had the best experience at Harbor Lights in Tacoma! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and had that perfect waterfront charm. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.
Now the food… WOW. It truly knocked our socks off. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell they take real pride in their seafood — each bite tasted like quality and care. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and everything came out piping hot.
The view of the water added the perfect touch to an already outstanding meal. It’s rare to find a place that nails great service, amazing food, and a beautiful environment all at once, but Harbor Lights does exactly that.
We left so happy and beyond impressed. If you're anywhere near Tacoma and love seafood, do yourself a favor and go to Harbor Lights. We will absolutely be back!

Experience ok. WE had asked for a window seat for birthday occasion. No they did not honor request nor did they acknowledge birthday. Dinner was ok. we ordered starter plate of scallops and seriously only 5 and one of them looked like it was a piece of scallop not a whole one.

Great service by Tessa A! She consistently checked on us even when her section was full. The food was great and atmosphere was fantastic. As someone traveling to Tacoma for the first time I would 10/10 recommend the happy hour in the bar, great food and drinks!

It was a great experience eating at the Harbor Lights. The event was a birthday celebration and our original reservation was for 6, we had an extra two guests. The person at the desk asked for some more time to prepare our table but then decided to place our party in the private room instead. Thank you very much. Everything was great, the service, the food, the ambiance. Even when was a slight problem, it was immediately resolved with extra courtesy. Again, thank you for a great evening. We will be back for dinner again.

The restaurant was very noisy but asked to be moved to a quieter location and the staff was very accommodating General conditions of restaurant were simple table with settings , the carpet was very worn and at one table where we were to be seated there was a section of it ripped. It appeared not exactly spotless. That is something I would think management would be concerned with. The food was very tasty however.

We dine often at Harbor Lights as it's been a favorite for years. Unfortunately the other evening we were disappointed. We arrived at 7 o'clock per our reservation. The restaurant was not busy. We ordered our food. It arrived. One of our guests was not served what was requested ... mashed potatoes & was served a baked potato. The server did not recognize the error so the guest said nothing. Another guest's vegetables seemed leftover, were not tasty and cold. Minor mistakes but not typical of Harbor Lights. Thursday evening at 7 is obviously not a good time to come. Or is it losing its touch?

The lobster, silver salmon, caesar salad, burnt creme, lemon drop and my beer were Great! For my wife and myself. Along with Andy and the rest of the servers. We want to come back soon.

What a great experience. We've been coming to harbor lights for events for the last 20 years. We came on a Thursday night for my parents 35th wedding anniversary and the service and food were each top notch. The manager was extremely accommodating and helpful!
