I really wish I had taken a picture of my beautiful Waffle with Strawberries and whipped cream. It was everything that makes a waffle breakfast perfect. Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Perfect hint of vanilla. Fresh strawberries. Real whipped cream. Our waiter, Jason, was friendly, efficient and unendingly patient with my son, who is an adult with autism. It can take some time for him to make decisions and he didnât rush us at all. The prices are more than fair for the quality of food. The only thing that wasnât to my personal taste was the fresh squeezed orange juice. It was absolutely fresh squeezed, no question, but it wasnât cold and the flavor was not really on vibe to me. Itâs just a thing with fresh foods, the tastes are not uniform from orange to orange and this one wasnât my jam. At $8 for a glass I wish I hadnât ordered it. Nevertheless, Iâll be back tomorrow. Weâre not local to this area, only in Tacoma today and tomorrow for appointments, so itâs a little out of the way from home. Tomorrow I will take a picture before I destroy it.

My wife and I were rookie HobNob diners earlier today 03/03/26. We were in search of an all day breakfast restaurant, on our Tacoma visit. The Hob Nob diner reviews intrigued us,and we located the Hob Nob restaurant to give it a try. Greeting, seating, and menu selection met and exceeded our expectations. Waitress Alicia Y. took excellent care of us. Our breakfast selections were served as ordered, Our coffee cups were filled as needed, water glasses were also refilled without a request. The HobNob homies were exceptionally seasoned and cooked. Meats were served perfectly, and the sausage gravy/scratch biscuits were delightful. Coffee tasted like freshly brewed and rich coffee. Above all, waitress Alicia Y's attention,smiles, and dimples were good for our souls today! We also purchased Hob Nob coffee mugs for home use. We live in Seattle east-side, and we will patronize your fine, eclectic restaurant for spectacular meals, exceptional hospitality, and most-rembered service on future Tacoma visits. Thank you to Hob Nob !

The food here is well prepared and attractively presented. The staff is friendly, though they can seem a bit rushed. There is always a long wait, especially on weekends, sometimes reaching close to an hour to be seated. While youâre waiting, there is extremely limited seating in the waiting area. The tables are packed in very tightly together.
I went for dinner to catch up with a friend. I ordered fried pickles and chicken. Everything was delicious. It wasn't too loud to talk at dinner time, but I'm told it's pretty busy for brunch. If I lived in the area I'd be back.
The staff were friendly and service was reasonably timed. Decor is mixed transitional with an old time feel.
Parking was easy. Floors were even for wheelchair access, but it might be tight in places. You could definitely bring kids here. There were vegetarian options.

My son is in the hospital and the staff sent me here I havenât laughed in a week and now my cheeks are on fire! The island mimosa made my heart sing and my soul smile! Thank you for the laughs and hospitality Mr Caesar and Mr Aiden is fantastic! Thank you again for making me feel like the world is still kind. Will definitely be back, maybe with friends
