My friends like this spot more than I do. The waiting here is endless and I don't know if they just don't have enough staff or what but we always have a 30+ min wait to be seated, it takes forever to see your server and to give them your order. They don't check back on you, refill waters, or do other basic ongoing service. The food is really average greasy spoon quality which has a place but the low quality service and slow cook time makes me wonder if it's worth it every time we go. At this point, if my friends want to go to hob nob I kinda feel like I might just stay home.

Your basic diner, with that little local flare. Have not had a bad meal here, but can get a little busy (therefore slower service) during breakfast rushes. Their home fries are delicious, but the large portions make me a little sad because I just cannot eat that many potatoes for breakfast. Delicious scrambles, skillets and biscuits.

My Experience: Overall, GOOD!- Talked to the second I came in the door, and seated.- Waitress (Micha) was sweet and professional.- Food ordering was great, no upcharge for dietary/keto-friendly side of bacon instead of biscuit.- Waited less than 10 mins for food to arrive at my table. (food was under seasoned, but good after salt/pepper was added)Pros: Customer Service, Coke products, atmosphere, food (w/S&P)Cons: Floor was dirty under my table, food underseasoned.Quote About My Experience: "The best table in the house is still the worst experience if it's dirty."Dietary restrictions: Keto

This is the best breakfast place on so many levels. Their gravy stands out as the best gravy I've ever had, and their execution on the food, the friendly, caring service, the location in front of the park with the nice big windows, everything about it makes it one of those great American breakfast diners. This is saved in my favorites, along with some restaurants in London, Montreal, San Francisco, and Seattle. Not all superb restaurants come in a fancy package.Parking: Plenty of parking on the street, since it's in front of a large park. They basically have the street to themselves.

Great old school Cafe, with comfort food of all kinds. Been a long time customer, and was pleasantly surprised with the new menu items! We had the Chicken Fried steak and Country Scramble. Both came with a delicious sausage gravy.

Best homies in Tacoma! Great food served by even better people! We had a Diablo skillet with house made chorizo and the cali Benedict but be warned it’s hard to choose. Drinks are on point and the bartender is awesome. The home fries get baked, diced and fried over a 36 hour period to provide the foundation for a damn fine brunch! Can’t wait to go again

Hob Nob! Such a great place.. breakfast is so good at this place, you can't really go wrong with any of the dishes. Hob Nob also has a secret little bar inside which serves a stout, tasty bloody mary! The atmosphere is lively with friends talking and laughing. The staff was right on the money. I ordered over easy but I got scrambled and it was fixed immediately, and I ate them both!A staple of Tacoma, a very popular joint and one you won't regret, give it a try. A bonus is Wright Park is right across the street, walk off your yummy meal at this pretty park!Parking: Park anywhere along Wright Park.
