A nice place to work from if you have some work to get done on your computer. Their space is set up for group gathering and working. Food is also good here which helps you fuel your productivity. I'd say a few things to caution are that sometimes parking around the area can be a challenge and also they tend to shut the area off around 4 pm and they ask you to move over to the other side to the lounge. All in all, it is a nice space to hang out in Tacoma.

Bottom line: the food was okay but the service was great! The indoor seating is a bit tight so hard to fit large parties (more than 5), especially during peak hours (around normal brunch time). We ordered a group mimosa and the OJ wasn't enough for a second round (I know... the champagne to OJ ratio should've been adjusted). However, the people working there was generous enough to give us a second round of OJ when we ran out. The braised beef hash was good but i personally did not enjoy the beet that was included. Everything else was perfect. I honestly liked the Alma "Patio" when they had everything set up outside with tents and heating lamps but this establishment seemed to have either discontinued it or it's under construction. This place should definitely be on your "visit" list when in Tacoma!

This is one my favorite places to getaway for a early morning breakfast and to study, I love the atmosphere! My coffee is always perfect! I am really picky with coffee so I love coming here because it always taste perfect. Their prices aren't that cheap but they don't use cheap ingredients either! So I don't ever mind paying. Great customer service, beautiful set up inside. Highly recommend coming here. I've never had a bad meal here. One of my favorite tacoma spots especially if you want to meet up with some friends it's spacious inside.

How the f*** does Biscuits and Gravy with eggs and a drip coffee come out to $26 and still ask for a tip? Biscuits and gravy and eggs are $18 plus a $2.50 drip coffee. Seems a bit pricey. Food is alright. When I asked about the price I got a surprised look and no receipt or breakdown. Maybe a 22% tax rate?

I have been here for the music venue, been many years since I ate at The Lounge. The were very short staffed. 20 min after arrival and still waiting for beverages, we begged a passing waitress of we could order. We also had to beg twice to have our water glasses filled, after I watched a wait person with two water carafes fill all the other water glasses in our section. Twice someone walked past the table, we motioned for attention yet no one asked us if we wanted a second drink. The food was very good. We got the chili with the cornbread that arrived uncooked and completely stuck to the iron skillet.

We were there for Brunch so we ordered a Burger and Benedict. The Bison burger has excellent flavor and texture. Very well conceived and constructed. Shoestring fries were a perfect accompaniment. The Benedict is somewhat non-traditional as you must choose between a salmon cake or mushroom cake instead of Canadian bacon. Opted for the salmon but i think the mushroom cake wouldve paired better with the wilted greens. The english muffin SHOULD HAVE been more toasted: it was tough to cut, which is already not fun when dealing with wilted greens, and would have better absorbed the bright citrus Hollandaise. Finally, i also had the "Everything's Gonna Be Alright" tea, which is a superior digestive tonic and i wish i could buy it to keep at home.

I have only visited this part of Alma during events. But they have consistently had well made drinks at a reasonable price. The service is fast and friendly even when they are slammed. I am glad this place is close to me and regularly has fun things going on that I enjoy going to. The atmosphere is on the classy side of average joe but not hoity toighty. Just classy enough to make me feel safe and inspire people to mingle and make new friends.

What's good y'all Project Pat from triple six mafia out here at Alma trying to get some dinner. Straight up these folks have some of the worst service I've ever experienced. I'm giving y'all a break because the food is really good but otherwise you gotta make an effort folks cmon now. 3 stars.

If you want a nice picture for your Instagram then his place is the spot for you. Mind you, the glassware (really it’s just plastic) is cracked and the water decanter looked dirty. The water had also been sitting out since before we sat down so I didn’t drink out of it. For the price I would have expected someone to bus our table but you have to do it yourself. The food was honestly good. No complaints there. I guess it’s just the little things that made it unpleasant for me. Again, the atmosphere is good and it’s a nice looking outdoor space. It just felt like the food area at a music festival and not a proper restaurant.

Ordered a nitro cold brew and breakfast sandwich to go. The sandwich was good but it would have been nice to have a vegetarian option instead of just removing the meat. The cold brew was ok. The barista let me try their nitro earl grey which was delicious and will definitely be what I order next time!

ALMA Patio is really lovely outdoor spot with delicious food. The menu is relatively simple but I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich and the coffee excellent. I also liked the interactive art exhibits and garden spaces.

For how much it cost I don’t expect to have to bus’s my own table. Not to mention their drink menus were misleading making us think all there drinks were bottomless wen only one drink is. Food was ok.

Love their food but a bit of a long wait during peak hours. So bring a friend to chat with or something to distract you so you dont feel the time pass by.

Drinks and service were absolutely amazing. Food was good but a little over priced for what we got. The ambience was top notch. Overall we will return (hopefully when everything on the menu is available) and you should at least give it a shot and decide for yourself.
