I had high hopes for such a beautiful restaurant. It was pretty clear as soon as we were sat at a dirty table that the staff were untrained, understaffed and just newbies. We both work in the hospitality industry and specialize in the guest experience, so I feel qualified to say that this place Wa s a huge let down. The potential is immense but the execution was poor.
Soup served cold . The servers were too busy . I will not be going back . Food is good but food should be served warm !
Server was friendly but only checked on us once during our entire meal, 2nd time was to ask if we were ready for our bills. We would have loved to order more drinks but didn't have time. Also the pond is so cute but there is silverware and trash in it and when you're sitting next to it that's pretty gross to look at. The food however, makes up for both of these things. Fantastic food here!
The wait for food was very long, but I think many people were going to a show at the Dome, very busy.
We went late afternoon, as soon as they opened. It was quiet and few people there when we first arrived. The wait staff were very attentive but gave us some time when we needed it. We had the drunken beef noodles, honey walnut prawns, the yellow rice and an egg roll appetizer. All were exceptional and we had leftovers for another meal. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. It's a favorite of ours in Tacoma.
Is a favorite of mines. I bring my family here when they visit. I love the coconut shrimp and Mongolian beef with mango fried rice . Chef's kiss ❤️
The server was running around like crazy to serve people. Too few staff to handle the crowd on a Monday night. The Black Rice (seafood) I ordered was very unappetizing. I had a hard time eating it. There definitely is a change in ownership. The food had always been so good before. I won't come back!!
I don't know what changed. This use to be one of my favorite restaurants but now the food is not close to the standard I am use to from this establishment. None of the staff was there that has been there for years. It must have new management? We have been going here for seven years and now I don't think I'll go back.
It was a busy evening at the Indochine! We were seated, as requested, in a booth, where the seats have a back to them. Our dinners took a while to arrive, but beverage service was prompt and we enjoyed our conversation. Prices have remained steady and meals are tasty!
Great place for a family birthday or celebrations...or a date night. Attentive service, wonderful food with good portions.

Always one of my favorite places to dine at in Tacoma! Arguably the best Thai Restaurant in the South Sound. Great service, even better food and drinks!

It's been a min since we've dined here, so that it was worth revisiting. Noticed first thing that it was under new management, no big deal. Upon arrival the place wasn't very busy. Food: Ordered potstickers for an app and a few cocktails. Cocktails were tasty but used to come with real orchids for garnishment ( has always been a cute Indochine signature), well not anymore, just a chunky of pineapple. When asked our waitress looked puzzled. Potstickers were ok, but came out luke room. Entrees were Drunken beef Noodle and Panang Curry. Both dishes again have changed since we were last here. Presentation wasn't very appealing, and again lukewarm. Spice level was 3 for the curry and yet no hint of heat. And the the curry seized up, literally stated coagulating like crazy 10mins into the meal. Husband couldn't finish it. The beef noodles recipe has changed (added a bunch of vegetables, and noodles have been cut into pieces. Not much flavor as well. Service: for not being very busy the service acted like it was hopping. Waitress barely came, once to order another round of drinks and that was it. The busboy seemed put off when we told him we were done and didn't want boxes for the decent amount of food we didn't eat. He ended up getting our bill, 2nd time we saw the waitress was when she brought out our receipt. Overall: dunno if it's the new ownership or what, but I don't think we'll be visiting again which is a bummer, Indochine had always been a cute little place to go have decent Thai. Now it's definitely not worth it for us. Best of luck to the new owners. Excited for “Cheers” to open across the street!
