I had a gyro it was terrible, the bread was overcooked and slightly burnt, there was no onions and no cucumbers on it it was too much lettuce only two slices of tomatoes, and the tzatziki sauce was clobbered together. This was my first time having a gyro here at this restaurant and it would be my last time.In response to your reply, no I did not speak with the manager. And I thought onions and cucumber were standard fare on a traditional Greek gyro sandwich.

The fish sandwich is pretty good, but their fries are amazing! They are crispy and just the right thickness. Not too thick or too thin. I sometimes go there just for fries.I no longer get the gyros like I did back in the day, but the occasional fish sandwich or calamari are pretty good. The calamari is always made to order and the pieces are thick. You also get a sizable portion with fries, and the Texas toast. It comes with a hearty hot marinara that pairs well with the heavy seasoned breading.The fish sandwich comes on pita with lettuce, tomatoes, onion sauce, and some cheese. I thought it sounded weird when I heard about it, but it is tasty!Vegetarian options: The various hummus dishes, falafel dishes, and other sides are vegetarian like fries and salad.

I tried this fast-food style restaurant many years ago when it was in its former location across the street. The current location appears to be an old garage. I had the Moussaka Dinner which came with rice pilaf, green beans, red potatoes, a small Greek salad and garlic bread for $19. I liked the moussaka well enough and the green beans and Greek salad, but none of it was exceptional. Based on the other reviews, I suspect the most outstanding dishes are the gyros and the pizzas.
I must say, this is one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant in quite sometime. Upon entry me and my SO were greeted and asked if ee had any questions and to please reach out if so. After looking at the menu we went up to order, even before I could begin my 21 questions about how items are cooked Amanda immediately inquired if I was vegan or vegetarian from my order requested. Amanda was extremely knowledgeable and undeniably thoughtful to take the time out to inform me of how the food is made, cooked, and the ingredients on menu items ect... This came as a huge surprise as I always have to asked so many questions to the individual taking my order, considering I am vegan and do not consume ANY animal products. Amanda, went above and beyond to accommodate my needs with a gracious attitude. When we finally received our food, it was plentiful, and delicious. This has by far been the best service I have ever received at any establishment. I want to genuinely thank Amanda for her exceptional hospitality and thoughtfulness. Not to mention after we wrapped up she stopped me to suggest a few vegan restaurants, that cater to my dietary needs. I may say I do not take this lightly and am grateful for individuals like Amanda that display such care and compassion. Truly thank you to everyone at "Its Greek To Me Tacoma" for such a memorable dining experience.Dietary restrictions: Willing to accommodate

Waited OVER 30 minutes in the drive thru for one gyro & one falafel sandwich when there was 1 car in front of us. Why have a drive thru if it’s going to be that ridiculous of a wait? Food was incredibly mediocre, falafel sandwich was pathetically dry. Just extremely disappointing overall.

Best gyros in Tacoma, no question worth the price and the wait. Service is quick and friendly. I will be back. Our whole family loves it.....Vegetarian options: Really, really good.
We love GREEK TO ME. We order take out mostly. Today I got the Greek Salad pizza and it was good although the sun dried tomatoes were way overpowering. It’s all I could taste. A little of those goes a long way. Also, adding pepperincini would be a nice improvement since it is a Greek salad pizza? Best fries ever! MIZITHRA spaghetti, chicken souvlaki sandwich and the baked chicken Nagasaki dinner are the other favorites.

Wow! A small business that cares and treats people nicely while making great food. Man this was good. The only complaint would be I wanted more tomatoes but with all the meat they piled in the gyro there was no room. I was already full from Jesus chicken dinner and I was very fortunate to have been offered this gyro when I popped in to pickup an UberEats for someone else. So it’s not like I only liked it because I was hungry. Super nice staff, very caring and just pleasant.
