I was visiting the university because I knew several students that attended there. I walked into Kelley Cafe back in 1998. I was interrogated by a cute blonde for several mintues. It made me feel not welcomed to eat there because of my skin color. I decided to leave and not order anything. The whole experience made me change my mind about attending this university, which is mostly White. Kelley Cafe is a racist establishment with racist student employees meant for only White people. People of color are not welcomed as in most places in Washington, especially the small towns. Seattle seems to be more tolerant.

Good service, good coffee, and good food. The selection varies, but when they have chocolate croissants they are delicious, and the breakfast sandwiches are affordable.
