Great place for heavy metal shows. That being said, it's loud and in a covered warehouse or shipping dock. The mead is tasty. I wouldn't recommend the higher alcohol and sweater content meads, as you miss the body of what a mead can taste like and the layers in my opinion. But really, they're all good and depending on what you pick, can still have some depth, definitely not in a cider category, and not beer either. No food allowed, but they'll let you bring some in. If you don't like heavy metal and are scared by off branded stickers and the metal scene, this isn't for you. If you don't like loud music, just come in the day time and appreciate the good mead

Smoke rise in the west....It is amazing! We are going back for more. This is true artwork with the flavors to create a wonderful drink. It makes you keep wanting another sip. Than the bottle is gone and makes you wishes for more. Thanks so much for a great drink to share with the husband!

Cool place to see bands play. I tried mead for the first time - blueberry flavor. It wasn't for me, but glad I tried it. The staff is very nice & I'm glad they take COVID seriously and wear masks & everyone must be vaccinated.

Great place for dance nights. Each time my husband has an event, the crowd increases!

Lovely service, lovely servings, brutal music. The drinks here are one of a kind, in a one of a kind place. I am so ecstatic to see this location develop further.

Awesome place. The owner is very knowledgeable, the mead is delicious and unique, the shows are cool AF. They also have beer on tap and a non-alcoholic sorrel for folks who don’t drink.

This bar is amazing! The atmosphere is so cool and relaxed, and it’s so nice to hear good metal music! The owner and staff have amazing taste. The mead is also some of the most amazing stuff I’ve ever tasted! They also served a non alcoholic mead, which really meant a lot to me and the people I know who don’t drink. This place is open, accepting, and overall you can tell the owner and her staff genuinely care about every person who comes in. There’s no place like KVLT! Thanks so much for existing!!

I'd never had mead before, but I am now a convert! The "Brutal" mead here is incredible and far too drinkable - I just had to buy a growler to take home. Also: female owned AND an amazing metal venue? This place has it all!

There is so much floor space in front of and around the stages, both indoors and outdoors, that event photographers and video people have the absolute run of Kvlt Mead. There's even a loft area for a static aerial camera if you ask permission to set up prior to showtime. If your band wants to record your whole set, bring a Zoom mic or Tascam and set it up above the sound booth and talk to Will about exporting audio if you'd like the house mix too.The mead is some of the best I've ever had in over 15 years, you cannot compare it to major brands found in wine stores, I've tried. They will even ship bottles! If you're not drinking though, Kvlt is now offering Non-Alcoholic options. Sorrel is currently on tap, and there are canned beverages as well.If there's no event going on, kids and dogs are welcome in this space; there's a huge yard on the side of the building where meadery Overlord Jen Otis maintains an edible garden as part of the Food Is Free movement. I eat so many vegetables here, have you ever gone to a metal show and come home with merch, and a squash?

ALL of their meads are amazing!! This place is also a great place for metal shows. The owner is an amazing person and supports the local metal scene and community.

Owner has a superiority complex and a drastic lack of people skills. I tried them out because my girlfriend said the mead was good so whatever, (it was not) and I was told by a friend who did a show at kvlt that many bands refuse to play at the venue cuz the owners change I guess and they don't want to support a venue that doesn't pay their talent or their sound person correctlyy and this place is shrouded in drama. No thanks. Might as well be ran by a bunch of overworked volunteers. There is often a child running around the venue . Talk about a buzz kill. And worst part is i'm proudly trans and guy a lot of dirty looks from the guy at the counter! Served 2 people before me when i was in line.worst. i wont be backDon't go here for a drink. There are better places less problematic and more professional. :(

Nice and wide open, I liked the soft couch for seating. The mead was tasty.

Low key, unassuming music and event venue. Decent selection of Mead and a couple interesting beers to try out. Worth the visit.
