The food is too greasy and salty. We ordered a Menudo and a BBQ plate. The tortillas must be purchased separately. And terrible service! I will definitely not return, very bad experience!

The lady was very good to my cousin and I, gave us free food for we were waiting kn our family to get there. The service, great. The food, loved it. The only thing about it is that there is a Crack on a certain window, and you can feel the cold wind blowing on your back. It didn't bother me whatsoever, however, if you get cold easily, you will feel it. Also, the main door keeps on staying open.

A small recommendation should be to put a plate under the plate so that the waitress does not put her finger in the plate. I had to tell him that I better grab my plate. This place has better menudo and birria than MEXICO. I can definitely attest to that, as I'm from Mexico, lol. The hand made tortillas are made by the nicest lady in Tacoma. All their dishes are amazing and tasty. The staff is nice and very helpful. I will definitely return every Sunday to indulge in their delicious comidas
The meal was good, but there wasn't anything memorable compared to the other restaurant options surrounding this that have more items, sauces and drinks as a variety. The meat is prepared well. I'd imagine just getting the food to go as your best option for this place. The atmosphere is only ok. The menu has items with incorrect prices. At least the chips and salsa were mixed with the guacamole and chips prices. I think as a specialty items place this is great, but there's great Barbacoa a minute away. As a family place, maybe not so much a place I'd bring my kids back to. Our server didn't ask what sauces or meats we wanted on our items we ordered. I will come back to try breakfast, but I couldn't see myself coming back others with tons of options only seconds or a minute away that are all authentic for the East side area.

Best consome in Tacoma and best barbacoa maybe anywhere. I was blown away by the quality, very authentic. That also means the habanero salsa is not playing games.
Parking: Big parking lot with access from 3 roads.

The food is super delicious. The belly is the best I have ever eaten. The barbecue is delicious. I'm sure the rest is delicious but I drive from Seattle for the Barbacoa, the bouillon, and especially the Pancita.The flans are super delicious, as is the champurrado.I recommend it!
