AWSOME place for fishing and scuba diving. Lots too see under the water even a giant cement squirrel
Peaceful
Lots of people catching squid.
You see many locals out with their tackle box and rod here. It is a nice pier with access to the Commencement Bay shoreline. Parking lot gets full, but there is extended parking across the street for busy days. Public restrooms and coffee stand are a nice bonus here.
Perfect for having fun and catching sharks!
Saw a seal last week. Ive only ever seen them in zoos.
This pier is wonderful for fishing Pink Salmon! ItIt seems a bit crowded but with a bit of patience, your license and your catch card, there’s no reason you shouldn’t score a pink or two! Use a medium rod reel combo, with 15 to 20 pound line and a $4.00 pink plastic squid twitching jig or pink spoon. Remember to pinch your barbs down and cast close to the pier at low tide. Bring a crab ring to bring your catch up, if you don’t have one I’m sure someone will offer one. Return the favor and help them raise their catch!
Peace and tight lines to you!
Great place to chill , way too many people!
Great Fishing Spot For Salmon can get a little Crowded at Times
Parking lot sucks having 1 entrance and exit. Pier is way too small

I adore this spot! Brought my service dachshund here and everyone was super welcoming and kind to us, love the salt air and pretty trees orange and reds in August with birds flying all around... Picturesque - will be back for a sunrise and sunset! 🧡🍁🍂🕊️
Great pier fishing.
I went fishing at this pier last week. The pier is an old wooden pier. At the entrance is a coffee shop that has the best drinks. Although we didn't catch any fish, we still had a great time. We also met some very nice people. I highly recommend stopping here
not much maintained
The person who posted the damage done by years of service and the refuge left forgotten by ungrateful people
I'm thinking your comment was your way of offering your services. Some have more time than money others have more money than time. This is our community we rise we fall what ever we do we do it together. Lead by example and possibly not so much notation. Others will fallow and the world will be a better place for having you been in it. Lv d
