The coffee is really good and the barista was super nice although it is in a courthouse so negative points on the atmosphere lol

This coffee spot is unique and I can taste the history of the building spill into the coffee. It’s as if the coffee itself tastes roasted with the architecture and building’s purpose in mind. Call me Puget Sound hoity-toity, but for those who order coffee everyday for decades from coffee shops, at some point one notice’s with great appreciation the subtle nuance in noted flavors altered by the experience surrounding the order - even if the same coffee beans are served at another coffee shop. It’s subtle, but there is something special about the coffee brewed here.

They have a vegan breakfast sandwich that is so good you will be back for another one within the week....or at least I was!

That's Tacoma

A solid coffee or tea spot in the downtown area. The Vampire Kiss is my favorite drink, that name is so Tacoma ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just saying but it’s delicious. Their little kitchen is currently being renovated but I’m definitely looking forward to the breakfast sandwiches. For the mean time I recommend trying one of their very good pastries. One of the big perks of this place is that it’s right next to the “ballroom” located in Court House Square, which is a beautiful room and at times quiet.

An extraordinary chain of events in ordering. First I politely asked a lady if she was being served she wasn’t so she took up her spot at the counter. Turned out she knew the server, they chatted, I waited, they chatted, I waited, she showed photographs. I sat down. Once clear I went back to the counter asked for an extra hot skinny latte, cinnamon on top. She took my money then said vanilla latte, did you say extra hot.? I said no I asked for an extra hot skinny latte, cinnamon on top. She said sorry, I waited for my drink the girl politely asked how my day was going, my break time was disappearing. Sat down with my drink. A vanilla latte. I returned it the original girl said she was sorry, gave me my drink sat down again, zero cinnamon, took it back, again sorry. As I walk back to work of course I realise I would have been charged for a Vanilla latte. Cosmic, absolutely off the scales as far as relentlessly pleasant hopelessness. I cannot fault the smiles and the niceness, reluctantly though I can’t face this place again.

A cute coffee place in a gorgeous building, a bit out of the way of the primary downtown sprawl, but worth the small detour.

This place is a must visit. So dang cute, and has such a great little room to do work in or go on a cutie date. The ladies who served me were precious and wonderful. I got a cardamom latte and split a pizza bagel with my lover. 10/10

This is the only true coffee place in the area. The drinks are very good, & the service is great. You would never know it's there on the first floor next to the post office, in a cool old building.

Nice cafe in the old courthouse building. Good coffee, friendly staff, and nice seating area out in the main hallway of the courthouse. Only complaint is the fish smell and loud music coming from a nearby restaurant located in the same hallway (En Rama) while they are getting everything ready for opening. I came to get some work done and cannot focus because of the smell and noise.

Aussies in search of good coffee—best place so far! Matcha was from a latte powder so it was more sweet but still good. :)Service was great! Super friendly and accommodating. And shout out to the lady who served us and accommodated a drink for our kiddo.
